Good seeds!
I took the seeds and I put them straight into the soil. I didn’t prep them before hand, they just went straight in. I watered them every morning and night lightly and It took about a week and a half and they already started sprouting. I’m super excited and definitely recommend these seeds. I will update my review once they fully grow and start producing. Also I am in California if that helps.

amended review: Winter Squash Seeds for Planting – Plant & Grow Burgess Buttercup Squash
Amended review: So, these got planted 4th, 5th of July; never planted previously - depth advise varied - I used apx 1 to 1.5 ", 4 per "mound" (not really mounded, slight with trough and added a 6" "seeding pot" near it to water deep as well. This morning 3-4 days later they are up, above the 1" of grass mulch with large ~ 1" + first leaves (feeding leaves; "Cotyledons"). All 4, all 1 as nice as the others. They were kept in wet/moist dirt 'till today and will remain "well watered" etc. So, there you go - as good as it gets. They are not designated as "anything - resistant", mold etc. - so will keep a watch on that. So, for the price point I paid - I can recommend these. - This made it 5 stars from 4 initially which is rare from me. ----------------------------------------------------- Well, so far so good - just did a second planting of other (this) in my expanding garden. This is a new variety for me and have high hopes. I fully expect an "expected" result. One thing is that I don't like these paper envelopes when shipped. I get why paper and some do use plastic - however, if one gets these wet or humid in any way - I feel it may effect the seed, versus a well dried then into plastic it goes. Me, I keep mine in a crisper drawer in the frig and all works well for me. However, these went direct into the dirt (some did). - I've had 12 year old seeds I've planted, fyi concerning "me"; I just planted my last Beefsteak tomato this year - 12 yo old and well very well. So, we'll see - a "good" - "brand", we'll see if it matters for germination and etc.

Buttercup or Spaghetti? The Great Squash Mystery!
Well, I thought I was buying seeds to grow Buttercup squash, but my garden had other plans! Planted them with high hopes for some creamy, sweet Buttercup goodness, and what do I get? Spaghetti squash. Yup, nature's prankster at work. Maybe these seeds are magic, transforming as they please, or someone in the seed-packing department had a little too much fun. I’m not mad, though—spaghetti squash is tasty too, just not what I ordered! So if you like a good garden mystery or a surprise dinner option, these seeds are for you. Next year, I’m rolling the dice again! Who knows, maybe I’ll get watermelons. 🌱🎲
