Akkermansia is now widely recommended for improved gut health and it can be hard to discern which brands are quality. I've tried several and found Codeage to be very high quality and reliable. As a capsule, it is easy to take and the amount of probiotic ingredients in each one is comparable to other popular name brands. The value is quite good for this bottle. Recommend!

Capsule is not too large, easy to swallow and I feel my intestinal issues have improved. I read somewhere akkermansia loves pomegranate so I have been eating some daily.

This is a live culture. Research suggests that it is very beneficial. However, there is an adjustment period where you may experience mild discomfort and a slight rash at the beginning. Although some recommend taking the inactivated version, I have chosen the live culture for two reasons: 1) The point is to have a better functioning gut microbiome, which involves establishing active cultures that support each other. 2) Taking the inactivated one makes you a long term client ($$$), without necessarily getting the full benefit.

This probiotic has been a game-changer for my gut health! Within a few weeks, I noticed better digestion, less bloating, and overall improved energy. I love that it contains Akkermansia, which is so hard to find in other probiotics, and the formula feels very high quality. The capsules are easy to take, gentle on my stomach, and I’ve had zero side effects. I feel more balanced and healthier since adding this to my routine—definitely worth it!

I was leery about purchasing this but they are great. I have another Akkermansia I purchased through a highly promoted seller and there is no difference. I actually liked this one more.

I don't know how to rate live Akkermansia by Codeage. Studies used 6B-10B CFU, one pill contains 100M, it's unclear if this tiny dose can survive under the onslaught of harmful bacteria in the gut ecosystem. Prebiotic fiber included. This is good but why inulin? Akkermansia feeds on mucin. Inulin when combined with butyrate can slightly increase Akkermansia levels likely via cross-feeding. But RPS (resistant potato starch) produces much better results in human studies. Also polyphenols from cranberry extract, berries, nuts and seeds are effective. Polyphenols and RS increase mucin production. Instead of inulin, Codeage should have added cranberry extract and some resistant starch, as well as increase the dose. Or, at the very least, issue instructions for users to combine it with prebiotics. Adding some dietary fat like MCT oil to protect it from the stomach juices would be also helpful instead of recommending taking it with meals. Yes, meals provide fats ,but Akkermansia takes root better on an empty stomach. They did not put much thought into the product. I take 2 pills with RPS, blueberries and half avocado for healthy fats.
