No one would ever think if ever the lights go out, use these. Forget that flashlight! Charger them. Put them throughout. Perfect! Be prepared for power outages in Any situation. Have light available in ANY situation. Take them anywhere. Use them anywhere. Your prepared & that matters even when you least expect it in our day & time.

I live in SW Florida and always look for different ways to light up my home when there is no power...these bulbs worked great. I replaced several lamp bulbs with this and the light is bright and it's nice to know I will have them for back up in times of power failures. I can potentially use them in a lamp in the camper when electricity is not available or if we want use a lamp outside.

These are amazing! They are so bright. I ordered more for family members. I finally got a chance to use them this week when a bad storm came through and I lost power. These bulbs made a HUGE difference. I highly recommend! I kept them plugged in and charging when I didn’t need them. Then when I needed them, I simply turned them on. They come with another component that you can twist the bulbs in, to hang them for higher light (if your plugs are low or on baseboards). Highly recommend!!UPDATE: I’ve read the overall summary provided by Amazon and read that some say they must be plugged in to work. I never take mine out if the plug. When my lights went out, I just kept the bulbs in the plug and turned them on. However, if you don’t want to use the bulbs in the plugs when the power is out, they also come with a little hanging component that you can screw the bulbs in. The bulbs must be plugged in or screwed into the alternate component to work. I am ordering more today for other family members. I ordered the cool and I had great lighting when my power went out.

These rechargeable lightbulbs are nice, however they need to be plugged in and the switch powered on to be able to recharge the internal battery, nice innovation though for emergencies.

If you live in an area where the power goes out, these bulbs are a must. Replace your lamp bulbs with these, use them as you normally do. If the power should go out, they will turn on. They can also be taken out of the lamp and used as a portable light using the included socket. Just screw them in and press the button. I have them in every room in my house. They also make great gifts. I ordered two boxes of six. I will probably order more before Christmas.

I bought this product based on the excellent average customer reviews (over 4 stars), however the light bulbs don't fulfill my expectations at all. I needed them to provide a minimum illumination for at least a couple hours.I have fully charged several times the 6 units for over 6 hours but the results are totally frustrating.All of them perform in the same way, I can't perceive any major difference amongst "good" or "bad" units.PRO's:1) Good intensity of the light, for a very few minutes...CON's:1) The bulbs are so far to comply the announced battery duration (3 to 5 hours). After a bright beginning, they begin to dim noticeably after 10 minutes. Barely after about 40 minutes of work, the bulbs get totally useless as "light bulbs". They remain emitting very scarce amounts of light for several hours (like night lights), but this is not what the product description claims.2) The charging procedure lacks of a serious design defect. Either you decide to charge the bulbs on a regular socket or on the supplied charger, the bulbs need to be ON (emitting light). That is: even if you charge the bulbs during the day, the bulbs must be turned ON. Otherwise the bulbs do not charge at all.3) The perceived exterior quality of the light bulbs seems to be acceptable. However, the perceived quality of the charger socket looks cheap and extremely fragile.3) Complete lack of instructions about how to charge this product. You must figure it out.In summary: this product could be a good idea, but has been very poorly executed.I'm not satisfied at all with these light bulbs. This purchase was a total waste of money. Unfortunately, I can't return them since I live in Ecuador, shipping them back would not worth it.I don't recommend this product to anybody.

Estoy muy contenta con mi Compra, duran mucho la carga. Lo compré para mandarlo a mi Familia porque donde viven no hay mucha Corriente y les dura mucho la carga, lo recomiendo mucho todos los que he comprado salen muy buenos y de muy buen material.
