Garnier Pure Active AHA+BHA Charcoal Daily Mattifying Air Cream

I've never used this before but wanted to try something mattifying because I'm quite shiny.It has the consistency of air a bit like a moouse, but it feels very moisturising when rubbing in, and then becomes matte once it has sunk in. I don't find it drying at all and so far so good after a few days of using it.

Makes skin feel really soft and nourished. Leaves a nice matte finish for most of the day. Obviously the longevity will depend on your skin and just how oily it can get, as well as humidity etc. But overall I find it to be more effective than some day gels/creams that cost more than double the price!

I wanted to like this cream but I stopped using as skin felt a bit burning and few spots appeared on my forehead. Also no matter how I rubbed it in I saw tiny black streaks on my hairline only a small amount but it didn’t sink in to my skin like other creams do. Did matte finish but I stopped using it after a week of trying to work with it. I am elderly with oily skin I can’t find a matte moisturiser that actually works on my skin without problems

This is a great product that you can use sparingly and keeps the shine at bay for quite some time. I’ll be making a repeat purchase when it eventually runs out.

lightweight and smoothes the skin, leaves it soft to the touch and allowing for glow without looking oily. love this

I didn't see any improvements using this. You also end up using a lot of it because it mattifies right away so after a few seconds it sinks into the skin and you have to get more from the jar for other parts of your face. Since it's only a 50ml jar it gets used up very quick.

Doesn’t do anything to reduce excess oil on your skin. Didn’t make it worse either. Wouldn’t buy again.
