Ahh, yummy gelatin. Sorry, I had to do that to you. There is nothing "yummy" about any gelatin, regardless of originating source. It's benefits, not its taste / scent, is what's important to me and this brand is a good one. The uses for gelatin in the kitchen is seemingly, wonderfully endless with homemade gummies and jello taking the lead. Believe it or not, our family for generations used to eat the cartilage from the chicken / beef bones & crunch the bones themselves to get the same benefits, though in smaller doses. Everyone lived past 100 yrs of age so there must be something in that. Much nicer to simply buy the gelatin / collagen powders and make anything you want. Much nicer. Excellent product, good seller, no issues with delivery. Safely packaged and will buy from this seller again.

I bought the Hearthy Foods Beef Gelatin Powder because the brand I previously used had a really unpleasant, barnyard‑like smell. This one is so much better — no strong odor at all, which makes a huge difference. It works well for homemade Jello, fruit compotes for yogurt, and general thickening. I’ve noticed it takes a little longer to set compared to other brands, so it’s worth being careful not to use too much. Overall, I’m really happy with the quality and the clean taste.
