Very good tuners for the price

I purchased these tuners on a whim, because I thought... "for $10, if they're not that great I can use them on a guitar that's just for looks." Well, I was VERY pleasantly surprised at just how nice these tuners really were when I got them. The black finish was quite nicely done. They feel good when you turn them. They don't feel or look cheap in any way. In fact they're so nice. I'm going to use them on a moderately priced strat build that I'm currently working on. They're that nice. So, if you're looking for some decent tuners, but don't want to spend a fortune. Man, you just can't go wrong with these tuners for this price. Seriously. I highly recommend them.

Serviceable machine heads at an unbeatable price. Not a direct replacement for my Strat, however; the holes needed to be enlarged. This could be a minor inconvenience or a substantial problem, depending on wether or not you have the tools and skills to do it. Measure carefully before ordering!

Tuners work good and my strings stay in tune without any issues and tune with ease

Functional and effective. I am new to guitars and lack experience. I thought the style was neat, but they are not direct replacements for my old tuning pegs. I had to drill a larger diameter hole to fit them. They come with a single screw mount on the rear, and nuts on the face side of the guitar head. It makes sense mechanically, but not a direct 1:1 replacement for the stock pegs (one broken gear is why I wanted to replace them). It was an experience changing these out. If I owned a more expensive guitar I would have returned this product and acquired a 1:1 replacement. However. I own a cheap guitar and had little to lose if the project failed... I succeeded in replacing my old tuning pegs. The aesthetics aren't what I imagined, but I do enjoy a custom look (note the offset in the photo). The description didn't specify and my linited knowledge didn't notice the pegs lack symmetry and are better placed on a single side of the head (common in electric guitars). I would not recommend these for an expensive guitar setup unless you have the forehand experience and fully acknowledge what you are getting into.
