Tab A9, (Non-UK version)

As others have mentioned already, perfectly fine to use in the UK. This device doesn't have cellular as far as I can tell, nowhere to insert a sim, just an SD card slot. Funny way of opening it with the little push-in-pin included at the bottom of the box. Sad to say, but I had to look up a video about that. At setup, select UK English, set location to South Africa (or where ever), reboots at some point, all is good. It makes no sense to buy a UK version for more money unless it comes with cellular (I don't know), but I don't want or need cellular on a tablet. Android runs really smooth and fast with low latency on taps, no stuttering on scrolling. Battery life appears to be very good so far. Arrived at 58 percent; updated, played chess, watched YouTube videos etc. Down to 30% after a lot of miscellaneous use most of the day. I'm happy with that. No charger, of course, but any 5 volt charger should be fine, amps don't matter as they are pulled. I'm not recommending that and shall purchase a Samsung dedicated charger at some point for the fast charge option. Mean time, will slow charge via PC USB. 3.5 audio jack. Great! No Bluetooth for my brain, thanks very much. If you're on a tight budget, this is your best choice, it's a fantastic tablet and perfect for my needs.

Great little tablet with solid specs for the price. Compact size makes it perfect for travel and daily use. Performance is smooth for most tasks — ideal for reading, browsing, and streaming. And 3,5" port for headphones

Outstanding looks, quality, versatility and price. I consider myself very lucky to have scored such a lovely, brand new item. The price was very much lowered as the tablet factory settings think it is in South Africa or the Gulf States. No problem to adjust if you like. The touch screen and sound quality are very good. Very easy to set up. The parent company takes you through all the steps. Instant WiFi . And good storage capacity.

Quality, Battery life and speed have been very good. Being a Non-eu version threw me for a second but just setup as South Africa region and it's all ok still can select UK English etc. So far really happy with it, I've put it in a rugged case and I've taken it away a few times including hiking where I like a larger screen to check my route with OS Maps. Screen size is perfect for my needs audio quality is good for a little tablet as well. Screen quality is good for movie watching without having the issue of being too dark in some scenes of films.a All in all a great tablet for the price. If you want Amazing spend £600+ if you want a decent one for kids or something you want to take out and about this is perfect.

It's a great tablet for the price and in my experience much better then the same priced opposition being a Samsung customer for many years I find it very easy to use it was very easy to boot up and it's speed is fine build quality is good battery life is OK for me,it's OK for my needs emails,diary,notes,You Tube etc,I've added 128G more memory it syncs up with my phone and another larger tablet and it's size makes it easy to carry around what's not to like.I thoroughly recommend the A9 tablet.

Very easy to set up particularly if you can use smart switch to get settings from a Samsung phone. Very responsive. Provides great use time on battery and with sound buds makes a great device for watching movies while on travels etc. Value for money is excellent. Slippery to hold so a gel case just makes it more usable and provides good protection ( I would recommend TiMOVO for Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Case 8.7 Inch 2023, Slim Soft TPU Translucent Frosted Back). The non UK model is easy to set (and of course cheaper) up as once you have chosen english UK you can ignore the counties choice until you go into settings manually or as I did just use smartswitch to do it for you

Keeps hanging, only use it for Youtubr but seems like it's too slow for that
