This product is great for those wounds that are always getting bumped and never seem to heal because of that. The adhesive is not too strong so its good for thinner skin. The padding not only protects, but it absorbs and fluids. I like the fact that they are kind of waterproof and you can leave them in place for a couple days even when showering.

It could to have in the house in case of the regular bandages

I use the Mepilex Border Flex the hospital gave me as their pads are very soft, puffy & foam is much more thicker. I thought this brand would provide the same quality until I opened it. The pad inside is really sticky with the bandaid so it was kind of wierd to feel that texture since I wasn't expecting that. These foam bandaids are already pricey to begin with. $7 for 5 bandaids that this comes with. I thought it would be the same quality at least like the Mepilex but unfortunately it's a bit different and it foam is a bit thinner than the Mepilex brand. I needed it for my drainage tubes since I recently had a Bilateral Masectomy, reconstruction w/tummy tuck. So I have 4 tubes attached to my body draining fluid. But when I do sponge baths, the original foam bandages got soaked w/water and made me itchy so I thought replacing them with these would help. It does keep my tubes in place but it doesn't give the soft foam puffy support like Mepilex and the pads are really sticky adhesive too. Maybe it will benefit in holding my tubes down on my skin but this is my 1st impression.

These are the best bandages for scrapes and cuts. Especially if you have sensitive skin. It will not stick to your cut even if an open scrape of cut. It will not tear you skin when you take it off. And you wound will heal faster.

Stays on well for multiple days. Good product.

I figured that this would be the same as optifoam or allevyn, nope. It's definitely comparable but doesn't stay sticky as long and doesn't have the durability. For a dressing that's supposed to be able to stay in place up to a week I couldn't keep it in place for more than 24 hours.

MedVance TM Silicone dressings are high quality foam dressings. The have good adhesive and are over all a great dressing.
