*UPDATE* I didn’t know it, but I’d been working out on the wrong kind of mat! I mistakenly ordered & used the one for barefooted activity & it fell apart. I reached out to Gorilla Mats when it started to disintegrate & they told the mat I had wasn’t designed for heavy-duty use with shoes. I felt sheepish for ordering the wrong mat, but their customer service was next level. Thanks to Zach for sending me the correct mat & fixing my honest mistake. I am so grateful that quality companies with people who care still exist. I LOVE this mat! I feel safe when I’m working out, it provides just enough cushion without making me trip & it does NOT move when I’m doing quick transitional moves like skater jumps. I think it looks sharp & finishes out my workout studio perfectly. *ORIGINAL REVIEW* I just got my mat, but so far I am super pleased! I feel so much safer working out on this mat instead of the dusty concrete floor I have been working out on. No chemical smell. Lays flat straight out of the box. Grips just enough without tugging as I rotate. Just enough cushion for burpee jumps. I am very happy that I bought the XL.

Works perfectly. We wanted a large mat for a dedicated workout area in our den, which has hardwood flooring. It rolled out beautifully, is nice and thick-feeling underfoot without being bulky - approximately 1/4" thick. No unpleasant odor. We have both an erg and a stationary bike sitting on it, with room to spare for mat work. The color is a nice deep blue, not too bright and not too dark. I wanted a color alternative to black, but didn't want anything flashy - this works great. When doing mat exercises on it my back feels fine, no additional cushioning needed. It beats my old yoga mat, that's for sure. Love that there are so many sizes available, allowed us to customize the sizing to fit the area we needed without placing a 'custom' order. Carry straps and workout towel were nice extras. Company reached out several times during the ordering process and after delivery, to ensure we were satisfied and didn't have questions. All in all we're very pleased with the product.

I bought two of these mats a 9x6 and 7x5 and as advertised they did transform my space into a nice workout area. I use them for yoga and stretching and quite satisfied, especially since the 7x5 cost only slightly more than a typical high end mat like you would find for sale in a yoga studio. Its thick and expansive enough to be very comfortable for couples yoga which IMHO is more fun that solo. One cautionary note is these mats are slightly more slippery than most yoga mat so my hands tend to slip a little like in downward dog position, so I deducted one star, but it doesn't really impact me that much. I also notice a need to be careful and not walk on them with shoes since it does track particles, though I found that using a small vacuum with attachment (see photo) and the included microfiber cleaning cloth is sufficient to keep it clean. All in all very happy, thanks!

This mat is a beautiful color, super soft and high quality, but it is pretty thin so I ordered 2 of these and now it's perfect for my room.

This mat is a game-changer. The 9' x 6' size gives me plenty of room to stretch, do yoga, and even follow along with HIIT workouts without stepping off the mat. The 8mm thickness is perfect—soft on the joints but still stable. The grip is excellent and it doesn’t slide on my hardwood floors. I turned the corner of my living room into a workout area, and this mat was exactly what I needed. It’s big enough for me to move freely, the cushioning feels amazing, and it instantly makes workouts more comfortable. Rolls up easily and comes with straps that actually fit.

I purchased the 9' x 6' x 8mm Extra Thick workout mat that was delivered on November 16. This product is a very high-quality mat and is working great for my stretching routine. It comes tightly rolled up in a carefully wrapped package. I put the mat on my hard laminate floor and because of the thickness of this mat, it is very soft when lying and stretching on it. On Black Friday, I noticed that the mat was $80.00 less than what I paid for it only a few days prior. I contacted the seller and immediately received a polite response thanking me for the purchase and informing me that they would refund me the $80.00 difference. Great product and a great company. 10 stars for this company and this mat!

I just received my 9 feet by 6 feet yoga mat. When I took the package from Purolator I noticed the height because I am 6 feet. This package should be at my height but it was not. I opened the box and I measured it to see how wide it was. Well, it was 4 feet wide not 6 feet. I looked at the sticker and it indicates 9 feet by 6 feet. That is interesting. It looks like the manufacturer used the wrong sticker on this product. I wonder when they were going to notice this mistake and check all their inventory. SO, WHEN YOU BUY THIS ITEM YOU MIGHT GET THE WRONG SIZE. The good news is that I was able to return the package. The good news is that we received the replacement within 5 days and it was amazing. SAD news we had to pay more because the one we ordered originally from amazon was now "not available" so we had to find another one but that company had another page that they were selling for more money. I feel this mat is somewhat oily and I had to use my 5finger exercise shoes to be able to do my DDPY without slipping. My wife found it great with no slipping issue but she does not workout to the intensity that I do. Anyway, all ended up ok.
