I search a long time for just the right outside lights. I needed a small mounting area and pretty good sized lights. I looked so long that I just could no longer even trust my judgement. After I bought these, I still was not positive they'd be right, but I was hopeful. And then my electrician installed them. They are absolutely perfect. I think I could have spent a LOT more money and not been as happy with the results. My electrician was impressed saying they are well made, have a tight fit so water should not leak into them, it will be easy to change the bulbs, and they are stainless steel. I was very glad to hear he approved, but I was even more glad to see them up and think they look great in the daytime. And even better at night! I am so relieved to finally have beautiful outside lights -- it makes a difference! Not sure how long I'll be admiring them every time I see them and congratulating myself on a great purchase -- but several days so far.

Modern design at a reasonable cost. These were placed by bedrooms so did not choose the dusk to dawn feature. Looks nice. Easy to install. There is a rubber gasket that seals the canister. Simply pry open to insert the lightbulb. I used LED bulbs to save energy costs.

We bought 2 of these to light up the front of our home, one on each end of the garage. This really added a modern look to my home and I absolutely love them!! Ive had them for about a month; I wanted to wait to make sure they wouldn't rust before leaving my review. Its been a rainy few weeks but the lights look just as they did on their first day installed with no rust. I highly recommend this product. Easy to install and beautifully modern. Great lights at a great value.

Good quality and I like the modern style. Unfortunately the base that connects to the wall is very thin. If there is no electrical box in the wall to attach it to (as there should be) you have to be creative. Just don’t do something foolish and have it start a fire!

Great product at a great price...

I purchased 18 of these exterior lights for my home. The lights fill up with water, they short out, and the bulb corrodes in the socket causing it to break during removal. The light's body is stainless steel but the end pieces containing the glass lens and gasket are chromeplated aluminum or pot metal. As shown in the photo, the corrosion is extensive on those pieces and the plating is peeling off; the light is advertised as stainless steel, so you would expect all parts, not just the tube, to be stainless steel. Buyer beware! This is a beautiful contemporary exterior light, but due to assembly methods and lack of quality control you should expect problems. If you do buy this light, be prepared to seal the interior of the tube body and cut away silicone caulk from the lower lens to premit water (including condensation) to drain out.

I was skeptical given the price. But I bought it last year and finally installed it. Turned out to be more than I expected for the $40.00 I paid; and I am fussy. :) Great quality, very well constructed, and substantial stainless steel. If you're thinking about buying it, don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed. I love that the bulb (standard E26) is not integrated, which means it can easily be replaced; and you can choose your own hue.
