Superb harness for older children with disabilities
I was so pleased to see that this company had now made a specific harness for children with additional needs. The last one of theirs I got was a ski harness. My son uses this harness when we are out in town or round somewhere he could bolt and place himself in danger. It’s really hard to find a quality harness for special need children. They all tend to be for toddlers or just not robust. This is fab. Fits my physical ten year old really well, but with plenty of room to grow too! I always love how this company think about comfort for the wearer and also how they can help the handler. Like their ski harness this has a short handle on the front and back. It also has reigns. The harness has padding for comfort and reflectors. This is a really easy harness and the straps do not come loose like others. This is made with care and with quality in mind. Brilliant harness would recommend

Great durable product and for keeping additional needs child safe!
Great use for my son with autism I rate these 5 star as they are strong and durable. I think these are better than generic reigns and extra safety measures with handle front and back aswell as the lead to give them some freedom love them. Money well spent and great value for money!

Very reassuring product.
My daughter, who has Autism and non-verbal, can be unpredictable and break free from hands and bolt off. These Hobbledehoo reins are so reassuring. I bought some specialist ones but there were so many straps that she was scared to use them, but these she loves. She walks beautifully with me and skips aswell. I think she likes that she has that little bit of freedom but knowing at the same time that if it tugs on her because she's skipping or walking too fast, it means she can't go further and she slows herself down. No more running off. And when crossing roads, it has a handle strap at the back that you can hold, rather than the reins itself, so they can't walk into the road. Brilliant and reassuring product and highly reccommend to those with ASD children.

It’s amazing for the disabled children. It’s very strong. It’s even fit to the adult if you open it it’s help when they have the tantrum and meltdowns because you can hold them from any way you want to make sure that they’re not hurting their self and safe crossing street so definitely yes so far are we have for two years?

Brilliant harness
Brilliant harness for my 7 yr old ASD son. We used the smaller one for a few years and moved to this one and it has plenty of growing space

Nice little rein
It’s a great rein although I wouldn’t recommend it for children with behaviour disorders as it’s not the strongest and snaps when to much force is applied over time!

Safety is the reason I purchased this product, and it has put my mind at ease. This harness is sturdy and very easy to put on and take off. The functionality gives independence when you have to constantly supervise. It's well worth the money.

This harness is very well made and an excellent tool for keeping elopers close. While it’s not the most Houdini-proof as far as ease for the child to take off, it’s so not so restrictive that they want to. The most useful part is that it has a grab handle on the front and on the back which provides a quick place to catch a runner. I love the reflective strips which, should a run occur, provide an alert for potential cars or in locating the child in a dense terrain. There is a tether, as well, which can be used for some measure of safety - although, again, this can easily be removed by the child. My husband did use it once though when his blood sugar started dropping on a trail. It gave a signal to our child as well as passers-by if my husband ended up fainting that this child needed to be kept close.

We purchased this for my 5-year-old grandson who has autism. He elopes and has run across a busy Street before we could catch him. We had a different harness for him, but it was designed for toddlers, so he has outgrown it. This harness is a tad bit big on him, but not so big that we are worried about him slipping out of it easily. It is very sturdy and durable, so I am sure we will be able to use it for many years and it is reassuring to know he has room to grow into it. I highly recommend this harness for anyone who is concerned about the safety of their child in potentially dangerous scenarios.
