WPL WP-14 RC Military Truck 1/16 RC Car Army Truck Off-Road 4x4 RC Dune Buggy RTR 2.4G with Ball Bearing Proportional Throttle Steering 280 Motor Hobby Grade Toy Age 16+

I really like this buggy. WPL wp-14 buggy is just like any other wpl model a lot of the parts are interchangeable. I drove it for about 10mins and decided to strip it down and do some work to it. Pulled the 280 motor and put in a Tamiya 370 sport tuned motor in it. The shaft size was different but the Tamiya motor comes with adapter. Then put 3mm 15t piñon gear. Which is the stock pinion size. 30amp micro esc and three channel flysky receiver. Changed out the rear tires for some Wpl military truck tires. All had come coilovers left over from an old build. Hade to trim the rear fenders. The front end I took out the torsion springs as the coil over are all I really need. Then ripped all the leds out replaced them and added two spotlights on the roof. And made the antenna come out the top of the roof. Fun build works and runs light a scolded dog.

This buggy is a riot to drive, pretty agile and quick for an entry level RC. The detailing is very good, the tires are hard on plastic rims but for packed dirt, paved surfaces and mild off-road the traction is fine. It sits fairly low and doesn't have a lot of suspension travel so this isn't going to be for crawling. One of the best features is the use of ball bearings throughout the vehicle, a feature usually only found in RC's a lot more expensive than this. The seller was quite helpful and quick to respond to my questions I highly recommend them and will definitely come back for my next WPL vehicle
