Glitter Nail Polish Mermaid Pearl Long-lasting Sequins Nail Art Varnish (10)

I am 60+ and bought lots of different types of nail varnish. OPI varnish was always my favourite, expensive, very strong and very good quality plushas been available for perhaps up to 30 years now. Most times I gave it a second layer for it to become more noticably and last longer. When checking on line, there was a lovely colour of this type so I ordered it. It is fantastic. Strong, eye catching, very shiny and looks as though it is expensive. The polish dries up completely within 15 minutes. No need for a second layer. I have always polished my own nails and find that this varnish will not come onto skin nearby as much as most of other type.

'𝗚𝗨𝗕𝗤' is raised but nicely subdued on the little glass bottle I received, which is a first for me and, as it turns out, a HUGE success where the usual go-to brands failed dismally in the colour charts! The current stock images are accurate to the shade ~ described simply as '𝑫𝒂𝒓𝒌 𝑷𝒊𝒏𝒌' (rather than some airy-fairy name) ~ and it is just what I wanted for a pretty close match to a new shirt for an important event. I gave the bottle a quick shake and one coat was thick enough and strong enough in colour over a base, for me. Shiny finish. Reminiscent of those from the past (and when you could get a matching lipstick!), measuring roughly 8.5 cm overall, it is a long thin, ridged cap to the squat bottle, which is easy to open. There is that typical nail polish 'scent'. The neck of the bottle is a good diameter, so it is easy to dip the nice-sized brush in. I experienced no dripping. Being used to more subdued shades of nail polish, a steady hand and some patience was required, and I gave more time for drying than my usual 60 secs! No chipping after a full day + night, but I do tend to be extra careful when I have more obvious nail polish on. At the end of play, it came off with my regular remover, although I needed more time on this, again likely due to the strength of colour & base coat. On another recent outing, it lasted a full 3 days before I needed to change to something less noticeable. A little white dint (self-inflicted) was easily touched up. Compared to other brands, I think it is very good value for the price, at the time of my order. A rainbow of colours is available, some of which are sparkly + 𝑩𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒌 ~ handy for the party season, although that 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒚 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆 is a really close second for me! However... Wine Red won in the end. Also true to the colour pictured, this shade is 'on trend' this season...and...it was in the sale! All good.

I liked the colour, polish is quite thick but easy to apply, dries quick. Lasted about 5 days before I removed it as there were a few chips.

Lovely colour that goes on smoothly and lasts chip free for about 4 days which is good for the price I’d say. One coat gives a subtle but evident iridescent sheen which can be pacified or enhanced should you wish a more noticeable colour with two coats. It is Matt without a top coat so I would advise this for shine. I would buy from this brand again.

Bought in October 2024 and I was quite pleased with it, as it went on smoothly and lasted a long while before chipping and a beautiful colour. However, today 20 December 2024, I’ve used it and I’m quite shocked at how it’s gone sticky and dried up, as if I’ve had it for years. The application has been awkward, trying to get the polish on the brush, it didn’t flow freely on my nails. And, no! I hadn’t left the lid loose. I’m now very disappointed in this product and will need to bin it. I’m editing this on 25/12/24. After reading my review, the seller contacted me, apologised and refunded me in full. Although, I was saddened by the product, this follow up was excellent customer service and I didn’t even ask for a refund or complain. I would be more than happy to purchase from them again, it was probably just a one off thing that happened with my nail polish.

Lovely nail polish, great coverage and very easy to apply. Dries quickly. Lovely bright colour with a hint of sparkle.
