I am a male, almost 76 years old now. Unfortunately, things in general have changed for me a GREAT deal. I used to be able to order my shoes (all types) without any problems whatsoever, but now , because of age and medical issues, I've been forced to change. I wore size 10 wide for years. Now, because of the foot and ankle swelling, I have to be careful of the shoe I buy. I've tried several brands of slip ins that just didn't work. If you wear any kind of sock, ( even thin), it's even harder. I have even had to carry a shoe horn with me to the Doctor because they had to check my feet, as I am a diabetic. I have bought several types and wound up giving them away. These shoes are well made, comfortable, look nice and are easy to get on and off, (even with socks on). The flexible tongue and Velcro straps make it easier for you to adjust the fit. I love them and my Doctor said NO MORE cowboy boots for you buddy! I would recommend one thing though. I ordered a half size bigger and the extra wide so the toes can move freely. I read that is very important. Finally, a great and comfortable pair of walking shoes for me. I just hope they LAST. I served 32 years in Army. My body and feet are pretty miserable. The young lady that takes care of my wife and I recommendedwe fine shoes online, on Amazon. To see what the "AmazonWorld" offered us old folks. I have bad neuropathy, losing my hearing and double vision. I fall alot when I don't have my walker near by. My old shoes just needed to go. Ive had these for about a week. They are less than half the weight of my old ones, I always had to put effort into picking up my feet to just walk because of the weight of the old shoes. The platform/bottom of shoe is wide and basically makes it where I don't "tip backwards" from my instability. I have like a touch of vertigo so these keep me- grounded. They were easy to put on. The quality is spot on for the price. My feet don't hurt as bad by the end of the day- mind you I have always worn diabetic socks. So I know- the difference I am feeling, the new shoes. Try em out. The lady that helped us buy them said, if the size if off or weird- return em. That made me feel at ease.

I have CMT. To most people it means nothing. If those out there that do. Best fit, most comfortable tennis shoes! Now I need to learn how to walk properly again.

Initially I was iffy on the outer arch support (hurt the first two days), but after a few days things started to form correctly. Combined with some better insoles, these are now excellent, comfortable shoes with good grip. They are my all day work shoes, and while I sti get some foot fatigue, they no longer hurt at the end of the day when I take my shoes off, which is a huge relief after my last few shoe choices.Overall, I look forward to trying more shoes from this brand, perhaps some slip ons. I will buy again.

I wear a size 13 XX wide. I’ve tried every well known brand of sneakers with no luck. Finally, I ordered a pair of Fitville. Guess what? They fit perfectly and they’re real comfortable. I’m still pinching myself….

The metal that holds the Velcro just snapped in half. The Velcro material was rubbing apart after a week.Comfy and good fit, but useless if they break.

These shoes are made of high quality materials; their design makes them functional. One feels safe - walking in them has helped to stabilize my gait - I can ambulate more freely, with my swollen feet.Price was less than official orthopedic shoes.Inserts are removable and fit precisely. I have less reluctance about leaving the housein bad weather now.

For the price, you can't beat it.I was wearing slip-on $<etchers that wore down to the inner lining after 6 months on 2 pairs!!!!Thought I would give these a try.The soles are well made and sturdy and don't slip like the above mentioned.I did not expect any orthopedic magic but the shoe is already starting to straighten out my walk a bit.I would go 1 half size up though and will get these next time in a 13 wide instead of a 12.5 inch wide.To me, they feel a bit snug in the toe when other 12.5 do not.Still, I would buy them again and will after either I break the shoe in, or the shoe breaks me in.
