If you've never done an oil change on a Lexus, you likely only need the paper filter and a gasket as the metal housing is reusable. I have an ES300h and I just use the filter and one of the o-rings. Between this filter and Kirkland oil, I can do a full synthetic oil change with OEM filter for well under $20 instead of $120 at our local oil change.

Amazon information didn’t include drain plug gaskets which arrived in the online info so I ordered a separate pack that I didn’t need. Suggest updating info.

The media could not be loaded. So I have seen some counterfeit Toyota oil filters and I have bought many new filters from the dealerships. I have seen some of the reviews from before including the video, and that yellow filter is definitely counterfeit. But the set of 3 filters I received seem to be completely legit. The hologram sticker is the same as the ones I have seen as the ones from the dealership, not the lack luster type of hologram you get from counterfeit ones. These ones even get destroyed when you try to peel them off. The inter lid flap has the the print, idk exactly what it means, I assume it’s the part number of the box. The o-ring bag has the proper writing in the correct color red with the correct color blue line, counterfeit ones have no writing. The filter itself is stiff very little give, it’s the correct color not the counterfeit yellow, and has the part number printed in the write font color and placement on the double pleat. The crush washer definitely does not seem to be Toyota, it’s a different color and it’s glossy. I would use it if I didn’t have Toyota ones ready to go as it will work fine. The thing that knocks it down to a 4 star for me is that these filters where shipped in a plastic bag, not even the bubble kind. It pretty common knowledge that packages aren’t handled with much care, but working in the industry when I was younger I know I we thrash packages. One of three was crushed. Will I buy again? The value is there but the repeated reviews of counterfeit filters, I feel like I got lucky, so maybe.
