Night and day difference, especially at night... Easy to retrofit original lighting fixture, I converted 10 fixtures in my workshop and they are working great. My power bill is down in my workshop and I've got great lighting when I need it.

Been looking to upgrade to LED lights for awhile, but was hesitant of deleting the ballast and re-wiring the fixtures. If that’s holding you back, don’t sweat it! My lights are single pin, 96” in length. The diagrams are confusing, but just remember for single pin, Hot (black wire) goes to one end of the light, and Neutral (White wire) goes to the other end. Really was super easy. I replaced T12 lights, which are 1.5” in diameter. The LED’s I ordered are T8’s, measuring 1” in diameter. Makes no difference, the single pins are the same. As soon as I saw the lights were out for delivery, I went to the shop, deleted the ballasts, and re-wired, ready to install the bulbs on delivery. After unboxing, I installed all 10, and found every one worked, despite other reviews. I will say, they are super bright. I got the clear lens lights, and for working in the shop it’s ideal, but the fixture installed near the tv in here is harsh to the eyes. If you’re not gonna look up, get clear, but if you have a wall mounted tv, consider the clouded tube. Exceptionally happy with my purchase and highly recommend the LED upgrade. Being an 8 foot light, there is some sagging in the middle, but right here on Amazon, you can purchase clips that go around the build and mount to the fixture to eliminate that problem. Will order them and install just to be safe, but overall I highly reccomend!

Very easy to install quality bulbs. I did purchase the center supports which corrected the minor amount of sagging. The bulbs are very bright and very light. Very quiet and no flickering. Bulbs come on immediately even in cold. Excellent online simple instructions for removal of ballast and wiring. The wiring was a little intimidating at first due to number of wires in my lights - but bottom line just hook up all wires from one side to hot and all wires from other side to neutral and everything works great.

Obviously I was concerned about having 10 8' tube lights delivered via USPS. I figured the box would come mangled and all the lights broken. I couldn't get clear LEDs this size anywhere near me so I figured I need 4 and they're shipping 10, at least 4 will make it. The box came and it was sturdy and the lights were packed very well. I don't think the seller/manufacturer could do anything more to protect the lights during shipping. I opened the box and tested all 10. 3 didn't work. I contacted the seller and they responded immediately and offered a partial refund for the damaged lights. Very pleased with the outcome and the lights look great. My fixtures are LED ready so I didn't have to remove the ballasts, but there were instructions included that outline the steps to do this. If you've got older fixtures, you may have to take this step for the lights to work.

Do not buy. I bought a 10 pack of lights and 4 of the bulbs were faulty. They only lit up half of the bulb. I thought it might be an issue with my fixtures but I replaced the tombstones and still had the same issue. I tried the faulty bulbs on tested fixtures with the same outcome, half of the bulb not lighting.

The bulbs made a huge improvement over the old fluorescent bulbs that they replaced. Installation was fairly easy and straightforward. I did not experience any damage from shipping and all 10 of the bulbs worked fine. I am not missing the hum or flicker that was prevalent before. We will have to see about longevity but, for now, I am very happy with the results.

It took longer than 30 days to get around to installing these and 3 didn’t work. I like how bright they are, way brighter! But 3 not working is not acceptable would install these right away so you can return them if not working. You don’t have to be a electrician to install but be comfortable working with electrical things.
