This is a great price for these meat sticks. I counted 29 sticks in the latest delivery, which works our to about 55 cents each. And they taste awesome!My College Kid gets me to have these shipped to him at school.These don't need to be refrigerated until the package is open.That's the only drawback - because these are not individually wrapped, once the package is open , it needs to stay cold. But that's not a biggie, and my kid usually eats these within a couple weeks, anyway.And, even though these need to be refrigerated after opening, they are still good to eat for a couple days after removing from the fridge, so you can throw a few in a ziplock and take with you to a ball game, camping, fishing, etc.Great Meat Sticks!

Unlike other meat stick it has to be refrigerated and it does taste a bit waxy right out, I think its because more fat was mixed in to cut cost. While this most likely why its cheaper its not necessarily a bad thing, fat have a few upsides being that it taste less "dry" then other meat sticks and left to warm up a bit it has that "leftover pizza" effect that taste really good.

Hen I started buying these they were so tasty but as I bought more the ones I received were full of grease. You bite into one and it was like biting into a pure grease stick. Yuck

These are much better than the turkey ones. This one also has an excellant taste and expiration date compared to the turkey. I will be getting the beef from now on.

These are amazing

While it is a meat stick, it couldn't decide whether it wants to be slim jim-type snack or jerky type, so it ended up as neither. It's sour, but it doesn't quite have a chew, nor was it salty or beefy. It's just a meat-stick with almost no definition other than slightly sour. Sure there's a large number of them, but how many can you eat at a time? Packing size is just...weird.

I've tried several varieties of Old Wisconsin meat snacks, and I've enjoyed all of them except for this one.These are just bad. Huge disappointment. They're extremely fatty; it's like eating sausage skins stuffed with Crisco.If you don't mind some spice, I highly recommend the Hot & Spicy (medium heat) version of these instead. The spice isn't the only difference; those are made with much leaner meat, and are just far better overall. That's a five-star snack!
