I gave these to a friend as a gift. She is very into tarot and astrology and she LOVED these. Very cute design.

To me, aesthetics are half the fun. And this mystically themed sheet mask set is a lot of fun; the set itself, is designed like a magical grimoire - you open this "book" to reveal your selection of masks. And the masks are themed too and seem to be based on the famous Waite-Rider Tarot deck. There's a mask for each of the these Major Arcana cards: The World, The Sun, The Lovers and The Empress - then there's kind of a generic one with a sort of Zodiac compass - not sure where that one fits in but it's cute enough - that one, apparently is the Lucky Crystal sheet mask - maybe the most prized one of all!So this set is just made for a little spa party with five close friends, or you can enjoy them solo too - why not? The ingredients for each mask formula is different as you'd expect, but there's a few commonalities - lots of glycerin (good stuff, for deep hydration) and herbals unique to the theme of each mask. They work as any other sheet mask does - hey, these are special so take some time to lie down and let the goodness soak in, then pat dry (don't rinse - let the good stuff continue to penetrate!). I was once a skeptic of sheet masks but the "good ones" really do make a dramatic difference in your skin appearance - and these are well formulated. (I am still a skeptic of Tarot - but hey, it's all in fun!)I don't think you can go wrong with these; they're a perfect blend of the whimsical and practical made with quality ingredients. These are so pretty! They come pretty boxed and packaged with beautiful graphics. I know that has nothing to do with the quality of the mask but it makes it very pleasant just to take one of these out and handle it and get ready to use it. Then when you open the package, you find that the mask itself is very pretty with Rich color and gold decorative branding. It's such a nice departure from the thin white mask I have been using. These are very thick in comparison to most masks. They just have a magical motif, and I enjoy that. The mask itself is effective too. They fit me great and they are easy to see and breathe through. They stay on well even if I don't lay down. They're very moisturizing. The hyaluronic acid feel soothing and very wet, and leaves my skin looking immediately brighter, my pores tighter and feeling refreshed. These don't really have a fragrance though. The serum itself is clear. There's been enough for my face masks to apply it to my neck and chest and even my upper arms. (I've been losing weight since I've been trying to keep the skin on my arms moisturize in an attempt to avoid sagging.) I enjoy these very much and think they would make a nice stocking stuffer for anyone who likes the sheet face masks.
