Thick but easy to apply. No strong scent. Neither greasy nor sticky. Doesn’t leave a white residue like some other brands I’ve used (neutragena!!) Goes on under my moisturizer and cover-up. No sun burns since I started using daily!

This sunscreen went on my face very nicely. However I cannot use it. It burns my eyes! Very disappointing. UPDATE: Not sure why, but I have started using it again without any issues. I think it burns my eyes if I happen to rub my face and eyes. As stated before, it goes on nicely, without the white cast that is common with mineral sunscreens. It isn’t too thick, which I also like.

I have brown skin and have tried a bunch of non-toxic daily facial sunscreens. All leave a whitecast or shine. The Solara one does not. It has a very light layer that blends in well and after 5 minutes there is no whitecast. I like that is is mineral-based which means its safe for you and for the oceans. It could be priced better, but I'll spend more for something high quality. I wish they had a bigger option at a lower price point per oz.

Let me start with why I like the product: + EWG certified (huge plus!) + Mineral-based + Lightweight and luxurious Things that bother me that I keep trying to avoid with sunscreen: - Definitely has a white cast for me (I have fair, combination skin). If you really rub it in, it gets better, and the cast lessens if you give it a few minutes to absorb, but it's certainly there for me. Not the worst offender I've had with white casting, but it's still there. - I don't like that feeling of sunscreen sitting on top of your skin and making you super sweaty. I was hoping this sunscreen would feel like it's being absorbed a bit better, but unfortunately, this stuff gives me that steamy, sweaty feeling on my face. It doesn't seem to matter what order I use this in my skin routine. Overall, I'm still relatively happy with the product and will use the whole tube, but I will consider something else for my face in the future.

Very lightweight, non greasy, a little goes a long way. It does tend to have a white color on your skin but with my light skin tone it doesn't really show. Love the product!

I like the texture of the lotion. It doesn’t leave the white residue on my face. It seems to do its job very well since I used this in over 100 degrees for a golf trip and my face felt fine, no burning after. This sunscreen is not thick and sticky! Recommend it!

This is a great mineral sunscreen. It doesn't have any hormonal altering chemicals. It's also great because it doesn't leave your face with a white cast. It absorbs quickly but if you have very dry skin, you will need to put on a moisturizer. The only negative is that it's pretty pricey for the amount.
