Disc One: All Their Greatest Hits, 1991-2001

Barenaked Ladies are one of those bands that whilst relatively big in America and are huge in Canada, they are still a relatively small band in the UK. They are perhaps best known for their tracks `Brian Wilson', `Shoebox' and `One Week', which are all represented here, but they also have some other great songs such as `Old Apartment' and `If I had $1000000'. There are also two new tracks on offer here for those die hard fans as well. This has an excellent booklet that has a brief history of the band, a track by track description and a short essay about how they made it big in America, so all in all pretty comprehensive stuff. They are probably due a new `best of' out any time now, but for a look at the first ten years of this band this is a great place to go. One Week.............................One of my favourite tracks of all time, which I am proud to say I can now almost sing along to in it's entirety! (No mean feat for anyone who has heard the song. The rest of the album was a happy bonus. If you're curious, download that track and you will be hooked, if you know it, you don't need telling!

i was happy with the sound

Sublime, pop/rock/rap, so lyrically and tunefully written and performed. In my (humble) opinion, possibly the best "feeling down" antidote. Just love it, works for me - particular mention to "Apartment", the mighty "Brian Wilson", and, well.......y'know, all of them basically! Well recommended. I THANK YOU.

Cracking. I am new to BArenaked Ladies and it has been a great introduction to them. Songs are funny and clever, and you gol back to listen to them again and again, as they are not as simple as they at first might appear.

Bought as 'one week' heard on the radio. Great to put in the car to listen to. Like about half of the songs but that is just personal taste. Glad I bought it
