Works great! The newer materials they use now are impressive compared to the model 2 years ago.
I bought this pool vacuum 2 years ago and it worked great for a little over a year. I replaced the diaphragm a few times and skirt with aftermarket parts but after that it never worked as good as new with the aftermarket parts. So now 2 years later from purchase I decided to buy another one because the hose and in general was getting old, brittle from sun and chlorine. The new one arrived last Saturday and what a difference the new hoses and vacuum were compared to the original 2 years ago. The hoses and the vacuum itself were upgraded with in my opinion to a way better new material which is noticeably better and flexible. I put it together and through it in the pool and it was amazing. Hauls butt around the inground pool. So far it hasn't gotten stuck once and climbs up the walls cleaning them too. I totally recommend this product. Its great! Even if it only lasts 2 years its worth $50 a year to not have to vacuum the pool all the time and have it clean and ready to swim in.

Finally, a sparkling clean pool with minimal effort!!
I'm writing this review after using it all summer. I bought this at the beginning of the season because I HATE VACUUMING with a passion. THIS WORKS SO WELL I hook it up about once a week and let it run for a day or so; sometimes I get lazy and just let it keep going. The pool stays sparkling clean. The only disadvantage is that the skimmer won't be working when you have this hooked up, but that's not a big deal. At first I wasn't getting enough suction and it would get stuck in spots or not climb well, however, it was an easy fix. There is a white plastic piece that has a valve you can adjust. I tightened it all the way down for max suction. When adjusted properly, it climbs all the way up the curved walls in the deep end and goes all over the pool. It even sucks up diving sticks if you're not careful. ;) I have a vinyl pool liner so I think that is ideal for wear and tear. It looks as good as it did on day 1. I'll be surprised if it doesn't last at least another full season if not longer. Even if it only lasted one season it would be totally worth the cost for the time that I saved slaving away with the manual vacuum. UPDATE: I've used this for 2 full summers and at the start of this year it kept losing suction. Turns out the diaphragm needed to be replaced. They included an extra one so I swapped them out and now it is working as good as new.

Clean your pool
Bought this unit to use on my 10,000 gallon in ground pool. My pool has a main drain valve along with a skimmer valve. For starters, the elbow connectors and regulator assembly that go into your skimmer were too short to exit the skimmer. A trip to Home Depot solved the problem, see my photos so you’ll know exactly what you’ll. All air has to be out of the lines or your pump will lose its prime. Use the supplied weight(s) to prevent the vacuum from climbing too high on pool walls where it might catch air at the top of wall causing you to lose prime. I tinkered with the weight placement a lot to find the sweet spot. Next, it requires some tinkering with your pool valves to get it just right. If my main drain is fully closed, the suction is too strong and the vacuum gets stuck on occasion due to the strong suction. Keep playing with the valves to get the perfect mix. For me, it’s approx. 75% skimmer, 25% main drain. Lastly, this unit comes with 2 diaphragms, one of which is already installed in the unit, so no need to waste time figuring out how to open up the unit to install a diaphragm, it’s already there. Stash the spare diaphragm for use at a later date. Overall, this rig is solid and it gets the job done for me. It’s worth a a hundred bucks.

Made with non durable plastic
UPDATE OCT 14, 2023 Same issue as I had before. It seems the tube that you put the diaphragm into, on the end where the diaphragm is, is made of cheap plastic. It breaks and then the unit doesn’t work. It’s already been replaced once. The unit should last longer than a year. UPDATE JULY 7,2022 - wrote to them - sent a picture and they replaced the part. The new one looks like it is heavier duty. I have to give them 5 stars again. The vacuum works perfectly, and is 1/3 the cost of a Barracuda- AND now I know the company backs its products. Thumbs up. UPDATE - one year later and the plastic head BREAKS in several places while it’s running overnight. Wake up in the morning to a useless Piece of equipment. These should last more than a year!! I had a barracuda brand name Pool cleaner for 20 years. It was on its last legs. Replacing with brand name was quite expensive so I thought I’d take my chances on the Vingli. So glad I did. Works just like my barracuda did when it was new. Doesn’t get stuck anywhere. Pool is sparkling clean again. Has great suction, and there was practically no assembly required just a couple pieces to the main device and I plugged into my existing hoses. It even came with more hose sections, so I’ll save those until needed. If it continues to work this well, I’ll be super pleased. UPDATE - 8 months later I am having problems getting it to move. The diaphragm doesn’t work. I’ve replaced it twice with one made by AMI bought on Amazon. Am buying a different brand to see if the AMI ones are faulty. If the new ones don’t work, then I’ll have to say there is something wrong with this product. UPDATE- bought different ones - works like a charm.
