This footrest has a 1.46 Inch spacing between the Swingaway hinge brackets. Please measure the spacing between the Swingaway hinge brackets before you purchase this item.

Excellent fit form and function and Fast delivery.

I have an Invacare 9000 XT model wheelchair that had no leg rests. I bought this for the chair; it was a breeze to install. It required no screws! It just slipped over pegs on the wheelchair and fell into place. The legs fold away for ease of access in and out of the chair. They also lock into place and are secure. There is a back sling rest for the foot on each footpad. I would highly recommend this footrest for Invacare 9000 XT wheelchair.

First these shipped really fast which I appreciate because they were an unexpected need.The left one fit right on very easily, no problem. The right one took a little convincing because the holes were just a little too snug. We were able to gently bang it into place though. The only other thing is they don’t line up exactly right with the snap in spot on the chair that would hold them in place when folded away, but that’s not a big deal for us.

Least expensive option and perfectly adequate!

Before we get started - please stop and read to understand what you need. Due to lack of resources- often times, we feel as if we are guessing what we “need”. If you are like us and depend on Amazon as a quick retailer for a family member - you need to buy the right item the first time.Review:These leg rests were purchased (after returning wrong ones). These are adjustable length (which is nice to adjust to leg length, do NOT have leg pad and nor is that needed because we are not wanting to extend and raise the leg (that’s the other kind).They arrived on time and damage free.we are pleased with the quality.

The product has a long screw in the foot pad that holds a strap that is supposed to keep the users feet from sliding off the foot pad. This screw can injure a person’s foot and cause a hematoma or wound. This happened to my dad.With a bit of work the screw can be removed and make the foot pads much more safe.Also, the part where the foot rest attaches to the wheelchair may need to be redrilled to accommodate the attachment pins on awheelchair. It’s an easy process but one needs a drill and drill bit.
