Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Fact filled, non biased and truly engaging - loved it. - I absolutely love this book - to the extent that I'm already reading it again and have recommended it to several friends. It is exactly what it says on the tin - it is a bible of skin health armed with information that you can refer back to repeatedly. It will help you make the right choices on the high street and not get sucked in by marketing ploys, and it guides you into starting a skincare routine that is right for you. It is completely non biased and based on fully backed scientific research. It is so refreshing to be getting this sort of advice from someone with the extent of training that Dr. Anjali Mahto has had. It even gives you different ingredients you see in cosmetics and what to look out for when considering your skin health. I really do think that this book is a must for anyone with a true interest in skin health and what is right for them and I cannot recommend it enough. So worth the money. Review: A brilliant skincare resource (with fantastic anti-ageing advice!!) - I found this book to be very insightful and well written, it’s easy to understand and offers practical advice without the marketing spin. I particularly found the anti-ageing section to be most useful. There is so much conflicting information about what to use/how and when to use it and everything seems to claim to have anti-ageing benefits. This book cuts through the jargon with evidence-based facts and reader-friendly advice. I have always been intimidated by retinoids (whilst wanting to embrace them) - there are so many different types and strengths (not to mention the scary names!) but this bible clearly explains the difference between them and how to incorporate into the skincare regime. Very refreshing! A great investment for anybody wanting beautiful, healthy skin (and it looks gorgeous too!)

A great book for demystifying skin care
The Skincare Bible is an excellent book that explains and provides solutions for almost every common skin concern thoroughly and with care. The first chapter covers the science of skin, what it is made up of and what it does, before moving on to tackle skin care regimens and the products one should definitely use or avoid for each skin concern, including acne, rosacea, scarring, dryness, sensitivity and many more. The book is written in a slightly conversational style, so it is not a dull read. My only criticism would be the lack of an index or a separate ingredient list as a one-stop shop for deciding which products are likely to be suitable for you. As it is, you really need to read the book in its entirety to learn what you are likely to require. I have learned a lot though, and would recommend this book to anyone who is experiencing information overload in the media when it comes to skincare.

Very informative book
Bought this book for my friend’s birthday. She’s a skin therapy specialist so she loves having these kind of books to read. Great read for anybody who wants to know more about skin and what goes into having a great skin overall. Easy read too.

Would definitely recommend
Absolutely love this book! I’ve been following Dr Anjali Mahto for a while on instagram and loved the documentary she featured in about the truth of skin care. I Iove how her wealth of knowledge is made accessible and easy to read. Her breakdown of information is clear and concise, and her personal experience of problematic skin is a refreshing and honest read. I suffer with adult acne at nearly 37 and feel she really understands the anxiety and mental health aspects it can cause offering practical and affordable solutions, important for those of us on a budget but desperate for advice! I loved this book and read it within a day.

Good but value for money?
I found this book interesting but a little disappointing and I'm left feeling as though it was a little overpriced. Whilst it does provide advice backed up by clear and easy to understand explanations I was hoping for more specific information about skincare routines at different ages. There is a large section on Acne and other skincare issues which may be useful if required. I will look out for some of the ingredients listed but feel that it will be a long task finding the right products. Other than that the information is generally common sense with lots of importance placed on sunscreen which I was already aware of.

Best Skincare Book Of All Time
I am beyond impressed with The Skincare Bible, written by Dr Anjali Mahto. Since suffering with acne since a young teenager I have seeked medical advice, attempted to self medicate and read many skin books, but The Skincare Bible is by far the most informative and well explained publication I have ever read. The Skincare Bible has changed the way I look after my skin, from the foods I put inside my body to the creams I apply on top of it. It is very reasonably priced, however, I would have happily paid double for the amount of knowledge it has provided me with. I recommend this book to every person that is interested in taking care of their health, skin, and wanting to look and feel they best they can. Young, old, male or female, The Skincare Bible is a must read.

A fabulous resource for skincare with something for everyone
As a doctor I am always a little sceptical of health books for non professionals - the Skincare Bible is the first that I would recommend to patients, friends, family and colleagues. Written by top London dermatologist Dr Mahto, this is clear, concise and really has something for everyone. It is well written, easy to digest, enhances everyone's understanding of how the skin works and has some incredible tips- I will be trying these myself and recommending to patients too. Thanks so much for filling a much needed gap in the market - too many skincare myths out there that needed addressing, and combatting bad advice from non dermatologists claiming to be "skin doctors." Would highly recommend for everyone

Lindo livro e conteúdo bem completo. Bonito assim não custava ser capa dura. Eu achei que era!

Great book. I am a 33 year old male who took a sudden interest in trying to fix my complexion and reduce sun damage. I was astounded to see how extremely limited information there is on the internet. If researching something like Vitamin C, it would just say a few lines and the rest would be product promotion. I found Reddit to be an excellent starting resource, but rather than clicking through a hundred pages, it is far better to just do yourself a favour and purchase this book. The cost of this book is nothing in comparison to what you would spend in a year on creams and so on. Things I liked: very easy to read, quite comprehensive (I learnt A LOT that, particularly information on difference between UVA and UVB - that information alone to me is worth hundreds of dollars!) Things I didn't like: still confused about sunlight vs Vitamin D amounts, information was repeated, but that's due to the book organised based on the condition. A nerd like me ould also like a bit more scientific information on some of the recommendations, but I think the amount contained was perfect for the average person. All in all a very factual book that dispels the myths and tells you exactly what you need for your routine. Absolutely worth the money

Loveeeee this book. Mahto does an incredible job at breaking down the science behind skincare without missing important information. She also writes it in a user friendly approach - I learned so much, but never felt like I was getting lost. She divided the book into chapters based on skin concerns, so it's very easy to go back through your reading and check in on current skin concerns you might have. I can't recommend the book enough! My only qualm is that she rarely cites any sources in her book, which is confusing to me since it's so scientifically focused. Still worth it, though!
