Living the Love Dare: A Year of Daily Reminders to Lead Your Heart

I ordered this as a wedding gift for the bride. It contains very inspiring daily suggestions of how to think and perceive in love. (I gave a set of the 40 day cards to the groom.)The reason I gave the spiral reminders to the bride is that she can set them on her desk and the cards for the groom so he can carry one at a time. It is a lovely gift and I will buy another Living the Love Dare: A Year of Daily Reminders to Lead Your Heart for my daughter and a set of the 40 day cards for my son-in-law as their anniversary present next year. It actually may mean more to a couple who have been married for a few years. This item was received quickly and was in great condition when it arrived.

If you enjoyed the book, you will enjoy this. It breaks up the sections within the book, into a daily message. My husband, and I restarted it at day one once we went through it.

Great design . Seems to be quality built . I like how it folds into its own pocket to store easy and compact . Bag has pocket for those items that you may not want everyone to see, money etc . Mesh bag is large enough for lots of gear . May be large enough for snorkel gear for a couple . It has obviously been designed for scuba gear . I could put everything short of tanks in this bag . I think its going to be realy great.

When I tried to set it on my desk, the part that is supposed to prop it up broke. Still able to use it, but disappointed.

My husband and I read one page at the dinner table every night. It's a brief but enlightening time that we enjoy together.

After reading and following the Love Dare book, I was happy to find a daily reading that helps to reinforce the teaching of the book. The book is great for developing or rekindling a strong bond with your significant other but the calendar is great to keep you focused on the positive aspects of your loved one on a day to day basis.

It's nice, but I was hoping for more daily reminders of things we could do and active ways we could show our love for one another. Instead it is just verses to read and ponder - good reminders, but not what I expected.
