Easily one of the best flashlights I have (and I have many).
This is easily one of the best flashlights I have.We are on a mission to replace ALL our rechargeable devices with ones with standardized charging ports (i.e. USB-C for low power devices). This flashlight fits that bill and is robust as well as has a "siren," so it was picked for EDC for my teenage daughter and her Mom -- especially useful for when they go on walks alone. There is not much more to say about this light, but the fit and finish is exceptional and attention to detail is evident throughout.I am particularly impressed that the USB-C port is not behind a rubber "door" but rather involves partially unscrewing the lens. This means the port is protected behind METAL and a waterproof ring when not exposed for charging. The siren is loud enough to draw attention from quite far away and therefore hopefully scare bad actors away. The switching is also very simple: one click on, one off, as it should be! Medium brightness is "default" (OK, but not perfect) and switching modes involves a quick, light tap. The light button is raised a bit compared to the "alarm" button so they are easy to differentiate. That's great!I wish they made a significantly bigger, more powerful version which could also be used for defensive purposes. Their 21-inch "baton" light almost seems right. Perhaps I will try that.

Bad Button Placement
I wanted this because of the size and it had a whistle. I figured it is a good safety feature on a torch. If you're looking for a small compact torch that sits well in your hand, this is it. It's got decent weight to it and from all appearances, this is quality. It charged fast, and for as much as I've used it, it's done well keeping a charge. It's bright, but the beam can't be enlarged or reduced. The whistle button placement isn't good. It's right next to the power button. So many times I've accidentally pressed the whistle and scared myself or my kid lol. It would have been better to have the whistle button elsewhere or perhaps it should be a switch instead. I've been on the fence about price. I have a few other torches that are in the same price range, but larger and better. However, the size of this one is what I wanted. Performance wise, it works as advertised.

Bright flashlight uses a replaceable 18650 battery
This flashlight features a drop-in 18650 battery, so you can swap batteries with a spare if it should run low. It can be directly charged with a USB-C charger and accepts a charge at 1.5 Amperes (meets specifications for USB 3.0 charging rate). It has a very useful 4 LED display (blue) to show the remaining battery capacity. The battery arrived at less than 25% charge (one LED lit colored red) and took two hours and 11 minutes to charge to full capacity. It has a beam with a spot component and a limited flood size because of its small head. It does not have a zoom feature. The ‘electronic whistle’ is loud and high-pitched. It is very easy to accidentally press the ‘whistle’ button when attempting to turn on the flashlight. The product description claims it has a light output of 1600 lumens, although it seems about as bright as a flashlight I own that was measured at 800 lumens. It is a well-made flashlight, but the price seems high relative to other flashlights with similar features but without an ‘electronic whistle.’ Although it claims to be waterproof, it has several holes to permit the sound of the electronic whistle to escape.

Not quite what police officers use
My friend is a police officer and this flashlight is not like the real thing. You can not widen or narrow the beam of light. I also don’t care for the whistle button being directly above the light button. I often bump the whistle button when turning on the light and scare people! I do like that it is rechargeable and the light is pretty bright.

Very well designed and built
This is advertised as a police flashlight. At the current Amazon price of $75, this is about in the professional range. It is obviously well built. The o-rings are pre-greased as I would expect from a premium product. The USBC charge port is revealed by unscrewing the head a couple of turns, and is waterproofed by an o-ring as well. The interface is different than most other somewhat similar flashlights in that it has two switches, one for controlling the light and one for controlling the loud sound. I think the loud sound is intended to be a replacement for a blown police whistle. The switch only turns it on momentarily, there is no way to have the sound stay on. It is very loud. The switch controlling the light starts off with a half press of full brightness, which immediately goes off if you release the half-press. If you fully press the light switch it starts off at medium brightness and stays on, then half presses cycle through medium, low and high which will stay on at whichever level you leave it at. There is no memory function and the light turns off immediately when pressing the switch one time. It always starts off at high brightness for initial half press then medium brightness for full press. Switches are easy to find in total darkness by feel alone. The manual is helpful and well translated presumably from Chinese, the translation is quite good and easy to understand. I don't work in law enforcement so I don't actually know if this is suitable, but it seems to me that it would.
