The roast has that perfect smoky undertone you’d expect from a true French roast, but it’s not overpowering.The 96-count box is a great value. My favorite coffee is Sumatran in origin. I have been unable to source (or afford) the boxes of all decaf Sumatran, so I tried the variety box. Of the four varieties, (Ethiopian, Mexican, Peruvian, Sumatra), Sumatra is still my favorite. The others are not bad, though often better with a sprinkle of cinnamon. This is the best decaf pods that I have found at an affordable price.

Fresh Roasted Coffee’s Italian Roast is a fair value coffee. It is not a gourmet coffee that you would get in an upscale restaurant. But it is nicely flavored for an inexpensive k-cup.It has a nice aroma and a very flavorful taste that hits all the parts of the mouth. It is satisfying for that first morning gulp of Joe.I am far from being a coffee snob or connoisseur. I just want a morning coffee that tastes good and is satisfying as I start my day. FRC’s Italian Roast is just that and a little more. This Italian roast is a flavorful morning starter that gets my day off to a pleasant beginning.So, if you want a good tasting coffee that is easy on the wallet I recommend Fresh Roasted Coffee’s Italian Roast. It is a more than decent coffee for the money, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

I was really surprised by the quality of these pods. These are some of the best tasting roasts I've found in a k cup. Amazing considering the price. They taste better than bigger named companies ( I normally like Pete's and Caribou ) that cost triple the price. No bitter or stale aftertaste like some. Just well roasted high quality beans.

Flavor variety is great. Jamaican Me Crazy flavor cup is bold, yet not bitter. Coconut, maple, and vanilla flavors are fantastic and smooth tasting, and they work great in Keurig brewer. Price is right. Very satisfied with product.

I don't love the Tarrazu, it just tastes like pretty standard coffee to me, but all the others are quite nice and distinct. Good hot or iced. I've been brewing them with 6oz filtered water, 6-8oz is what I would consider the sweet spot, you might be able to use more water if you have a machine with a slower cycle. Freshness and consistency of grounds is good and the pods are well made.

excellent value for the money, and I have loved every single type of dark roast coffee in the lot of coffee pods. My favorite is Octane. All of the pods taste great.
