I’ve suffered from interstitial cystitis for over 30 years. This is an extremely painful condition for which there is no cure, only treatment. I feel I'm still too young to use diapers because I'm not incontinent. I do use several creams to cover the pain around the vulva and these pads serve as coverage so my panties won’t get stained. When the pain is extremely severe and the pills don't help with the cystitis and the severe pain that it causes, I have to have a “cocktail” of several medications inserted into my bladder through a catheter. When I started this treatment it was very helpful. After several years, after I get the treatments done I must lie down for two hours because my bladder starts spasming and the medicine leaks out. This is where I've found that the pads come in helpful. There are times I have to wear two at a time because the medicine will seep through. I also like that they are long enough to cover me well. I've had a few instances in which, if I need to urinate and I waited too long, I’d probably leak a little. So, I don't really worry, because I know I'm well protected. I've been purchasing this same brand and the size No 7 because it truly helps in my condition. Perhaps you wont need them a size 7 long, but whatever works for you, I highly recommend these pads, without question.!

Excellent absorbancy and very good fit. However, they claim to be unscented, instead using "Odor-Lock" technology. Actually, I found them to be so heavily scented that I gave up using them after a few pads because I found the scent so strong. So if you are sensitive to fragrances, skip these pads. It's a pity, because they they are just as absorbent as the Poise counterpart. I have shifted to the Poise pads which are truly unscented, and just as absorbent, but bulkier than the Always Discreet brand. So it you don't mind smelling like a bordello go with the Always.

I've had a dropped bladder for 10 hrs now. I was originally using the smaller Always which worked fine up until a couple months ago. I decided to try this product. Omg! It's so comfortable and I feel more secure knowing my growing gushes aren't going to leak. I highly recommend it for those women having leakage issues.
