If you’re using for a kitchen table you may want to put a pillow on top of chair for extra height. They’re also very comfortable. A little difficult to put together but all in all a great looking chair. Review: I ordered 4 of these for my parents' breakfast bar in their open kitchen. I was very pleased with the quality of the materials, workmanship and hardware delivered. The chair requires full assembly of 6 main parts: 4 legs (received with casters attached already), back/arm piece and seat piece. Hardware is good quality and includes Allen tools. Instructions are pictures easily followed; I do recommend completing assembly as instructed as I tried to assemble one chair building from backrest piece first to see it was easier and it was not, at least not for me. The instructions suggest minimum of 2 persons and I can see that having an assistant would've helped build them easier/faster, but I was able to do it alone even though I'm not someone who does this kind of thing much; however, I am a capable handy-woman when I need to be :-) and I would say that with the 1st chair learning curve taking me the longest to complete, overall, I believe I averaged completing a chair per hour. If you'll attempt them by yourself also, then I'd recommend that you completely unpack, remove packaging and take a few minutes to order and pre-assemble the bolts/screws with their related lock/washers before starting so you're not fumbling with them as they're needed. Also, I built the chairs in my living on the carpet so I wouldn't scuff/damage anything. I also used a closed shipping box as a way to rest the seat while attaching the legs as well as the backrest when I got to that step. Regarding assembly, the instructions state that you do not fully tighten any screws until all pieces are assembled and then alternately, gradually tighten adjacent bolts/screws - this will allow for correct alignment and is highly recommended. However, the Allen tools will wear out your fingers as it is a lot of turning. If you can get a power-drill with the right size Allen heads, this will go a long way to assembling them faster without wearing a hole in your thumbs/fingers :-) BUT be VERY careful not to zip them tight too fast. Not all will be able to accessed with the drill (unless you have some better tools than I do) due to the position of the bolt/screw, but there will only be a few others that you'll need to secure by hand. My parents love them!

These are quality. We'll made and I think they are beautiful, paired well with our table. I only gave it 4 stars because of the degree of difficulty to put them together. About an hr per chair. We learned as we went to only finger tighten bolts until they are all in then tightened down. That helped to shave some time.

The product is handsome when assembled. Like most reviewers state the seat height is very low (18 inches) even for a gaming table (unless you have a very large rear end) so that makes it not usable as a dining chair. Fortunately I purchased one of these chairs not too long ago and I saved the instructions. Even with the instructions the first time assembly is a bit confusing. The instructions say to not tighten the bolts as you assemble the chair, OK, but the real trick is to just barely thread the bolts into their respective holes until all are threaded in. Otherwise you'd say NOTHING FITS. In addition there are several different size bolts...put them in other than corresponding size/depth holes (according to the instructions) and you might ruin the project (ouch). The finish and workmanship are excellent when completed. The chair (in my opinion) looks very "noble".

This chair sits very comfortably! My family loves sitting here! We had one similar and had to replace it!
