My wife has been cutting my hair since we were married (think Monica Lewinsky time frame). She had, for the past 6 months or so, been using a brand that shall remain nameless, and it wasn't performing well, getting clogged regularly and having other small, but annoying issues. I read through the reviews for cutters, and seeing this one did well, purchased it for my wife so she would not be as frustrated (and for me.... a tee'd off hairstylist is a dangerous person to be in charge of how you will look for the next month).It arrived well packaged and in good shape. The wife was not sure about the lack of a cord, but it came to life with vigor and cut well right off the bat. The display telling her battery life she liked, and it didn't lack for power. I noticed a calmer, less stressed hair cutter standing behind me, and the results were very good! The detail and nose hair trimmer, along with a fairly decent pair of scissors were nice additions, and although not the least expensive option on Amazon, I think my wife would agree it was well worth the price.She's had two rounds with the cutters now, and is very happy with them. All and all, a good value and a quality trimmer that a non-professional home hairstylist would appreciate. If this is to be used in a more professional setting.... maybe not as sturdy as you might like. But I think that would be a bit beyond my area of knowledge, so perhaps give them a try in that setting too.

First off it comes in a box kit that is very usable. It’s hard and it zips. The quality is amazing it’s very light. It cuts my beard and no time flat battery life last a long time and very little noise you can do it while your kids are asleep right next to you, this thing is an amazing product and very worth it! also, the appearance is very sleek, and I love the way it feels to hold in your hand. It is super durable, and the sharpness of the blades makes it so easy to design hair.

These razors are awesome! I used them all and they work amazingly well! No hair snags, even in my nose which is the one i usually have the most trouble with. The power is smooth and long lasting. I shaved my entire head with the large razor and only took 3% power. The smaller razor I used to touch up places I missed and only took about 1% power. The nose trimmer stayed at 100% so I would say only about 1/4 of 1% power. I am very pleased with this kit as well as the razors. Although I have no use for most of the accessories, the scissors are awesome sharp and will be kept for other uses. The razors i hope to enjoy for many years to come and foresee nothing happening where i will need the insurance i paid for. My only worry is finding replacement blades when it becomes necessary. I would like to start out by stating that I am a professional. I wanted an extra set of clippers, trimmers, and shavers to keep at home so I wouldn't need to cart my work equipment home. I love the bright colors of this set, and from what I can tell it's got staying power. I've clippercided the clippers and trimmers so many times after each use and the color hasn't faded. The clippers themselves are super lightweight - when I first went to use them I actually told my roommate to brace himself in case these were garbage. They weren't! They cut through his medium density hair with ease. They clipper over comb well, too. The shocker was the trimmers - they're probably the size of the peanut trimmer (if you know), but they have a bit of heft. These trimmers made it into work with me as my old pair needs a new blade, but I get a lot of compliments on how well the trimmers cut, how smooth they work, and how quiet they are.I like these clippers as my house backup pair. I don't know how well they would hold up in a salon setting, but they work well for home use. Battery lasts long, though with any cordless always make sure that you charge em up before each use. I've used the shaver as a neck and hairline shaper which works alright. I still use my Wahl shaver at work, but it's nice to have a back up. The blade shape is unique, too, so you'll have to stick with the clipper guards this comes with or try using the Oster Universal Guards (they're a bit loose, but the spring in them lets you use the guards with this set.) I didn't find much use for the cape that came with these as it's far too thin and easily gets soaked by just spraying water to wet down the top of a head.
