Junk. Returned it.
Junk. I returned it.The picture was quite dark, at least via RCA connectors.Watching live, it would drop the audio until I changed the channel. Audio would be there when changed back to the original channel.Closed captioning kept coming back on its own during replay. Cannot get rid of it. It was off during recording.Could not fast forward in a recording to any of the faster speeds without it getting confused and stuck. Only way to recover was to power cycle it (unplug it) and start over from scratch. Even sometimes when it was not obviously going bad during the fast forward, after forwarding it would not respond to any commands like Stop, Fast Forward, Exit, Power Off. Had to power cycle.timbootech.com was listed on a small slip of paper in the box. But that web address redirected to aimibo.tv This TV device is not listed as a product and no information on it is available there. The slip of paper mentioned activating an extended replacement for 2 years and tech support for lifetime. But the warranty page on that website says you must have paid full price.

It's Great So Far, but there's one Important Issue.
I got this TV tuner stick last week. I have a 32" KTC 4K Smart Monitor that didn't have an antenna hook up since it's not a TV. I already have it hooked up to a ROKU box and since this monitor is a Google partner it comes with lots of apps. Last year I had to subscribe to and pay for four additional apps to watch the NFL games. So that's why I bought this TV tuner stick. I had already bought a Mohu amplified antenna. Since my smart monitor only has one HDMI outlet I had to buy a $10 two in one HDMI small accessory so I can switch from the ROKU and Smart Monitor apps to this new tuner stick. I finally got it set up today - it took awhile to figure everything out and how to activate it on my system. It worked and I have about 100 channels that uploaded here in Los Angeles. The picture quality is excellent! *Buy the best Antenna. I love the Favorite feature because I could easily add the CBS, NBC, ABC, channels for my Football games. The only issue that I saw with the tuner stick is that it gets very hot, even when I propped it up so that it was hanging in the air. So when I'm not using it I'm unplugging the power to the stick, and will only plug it in when I'm using it. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars.

Better than Airtv and LOTS cheaper
So my Airtv died from a lightning strike (along with my modem/router and Blu-ray player). I didn't use it alot, but I knew I'd miss it for certain things, mostly football. I use Sling with a hd antenna in my attic. My TCL tv came without an antenna input (the hole is there but no connector :-( ) A new Airtv2 was around $175 and I really didn't like the original, so I thought I'd give this a try for $25. Totally happy with it! Plugs into tv with HDMI cable and have a USB HDD connected to it for recording. The picture is perfect - haven't tried it in bad weather yet, and I suspect it won't be as good, but that is to be expected with OTA... The recording software is a bit wonky, but hey - it was only 25 bucks!

Sleek and no box!
So far so good, used about a week now. Set up is easy and you don't have a box. It plugs into the back of the tv. Picture is good remote works good. Good value for your money. Hopefully it continues to work great and last longer then the box ones.

Pretty good
The media could not be loaded. The device is small and has good quality. The channels play very well and sound is clear. Please be advised you need to get an ATSC antenna. Also I recommend plugging it up with a 5v block rather than plugging in it on the USB on the TV. I was kept having issues with it rebooting when plugged in the back of the television. Overall if you are look for a device to get local channels with good picture and to be able to record pause and rewind(some type of thumb or hard drive required for this function), check this item out.
