Seriously dull. so dull, hard to believe that the manufacturer would let scissors this dull leave their factory. unless these were used, and returned without verifying their sharpness ((yuck!).... I had bought one pair before that I did not use, but gave to someone else. They were lost and I did not get any feedback from my recipient about their sharpness. So I ordered another 2 pairs, one for me and one for her, and now I wonder if the original were not so much lost as discarded by someone who was disappointed and did not want to tell me about the crappy quality. I have to recommend that you not buy these, because trying to cut with dull scissors , even with their safety tips, is likely to lead to injury because you put so much more force and pressure into trying to make the dull ones cut
