Promotes Consistency
I have really enjoyed using this journal so far. I am about two weeks in. It provides many helpful tips. The journal isn’t too time consuming to use and it can pair with any dietary restrictions or preferences you may have. The approach is down-to-earth, and it supports sustainable, long-term improvements to your health and diet as opposed to a quick weight-loss fix. I look forward to continuing to use it as I already feel the difference in my relationship to food and eating. My journal is also physically well-constructed and sturdy.

Its working!
I, like most of you, have tried several programs to track food and stay motivated to eat healthier with varying levels of success. I am nine days in with The Nutrition journal and so far its working for me! I enjoy the daily "articles" and also like that it has me pre-plan my food for the next day. I just ordered one of the fitness journals to do in tandem with this one. Fingers crossed I find it equally motivating.

So far so good...
I've only used the journal for a few days, but I really like it so far. I love the quality and the color of the book. The paper is very nice and takes fountain pen ink just fine (if that matters to you - it does to me). My only wish would be that the food planning area would be a bit larger. I have large handwriting, and if you are planning an entire meal, there isn't much room to write it all out. Other than that, I've loved the tips and the intro material - now, if it would just make the food for me so I wouldn't stray off course. :)

Eating healthy
I have been using the Fat Loss & Nutrition Sidekick Journal for about a week now. I feel happier, stronger, more focused, and energized. I keep the journal with me most of the day and find myself using it throughout the day to log water intake and track progress. The journal is like a friend who gives me accountability, information and motivation to make good decisions about what and how much food to eat every day. One of the helpful "Pro-Tips" the book gave me early on to control hunger was splitting my meals into two halves and eating them within a short time period. The book encourages mindfulness, prompting me to ask myself questions like, "If I made this choice everyday, would I be a lot closer to my goals, or a lot further?" And reminding me of important things like, "Small, consistent victories add up quickly" and it is OK to waste food! throwing food into the trash so I do not overeat. It is helping me build a habit of eating healthy! I wasn't perfect my first week. I did overeat one of the days and the journal was there for me reminding me that I don't have to feel hopeless forever as long as I continue to believe in myself and make a real effort everyday.

Very easily put
I really like how easily laid out this journal is. I often have an issue with diet and this helps with the reasoning behind the types of food you should eat an the science behind it.

A great nutrition journal
Bought this journal a few month ago and finally got around to actually using it. The Nutrition Sidekick Journal by Habit Nest is very informative and it’s specifically geared to me and my needs regarding what I eat. Even during the first week, I noticed improved energy, changes to my skin (for the better-probably due to the consistency drinking water), and I lost 3 pounds the first week (making small changes to my diet only). I would highly recommend.

Take Your Time .....
Enjoyed that I could take a few minutes to focus at the beginning of each day to think about and plan the day ahead - nice to put pen to paper in an increasingly phone driven world. Great book, good ideas, 256 pages. Lots of hints and tips to keep on track. I personally think its great.

I love this journal! it's been very helpful for me from the information given in the beginning to all the tips/success stories they give everyday. I have learned things from this book that I use everyday now when deciding meals and making choices about the food I eat. Its helpful to write things down and really see what changes you need to make or just to see how well you are actually doing! I struggle with binge eating and some how this book has prevented me from doing that for 2 weeks now. I couldn't be happier with this purchase it's worth the money if you need guidance or just love to write things out, and see the changes you are making. RECOMMEND for sure!

Just what I needed.
I have already done a nutrition course so wasn't too sure how much I would learn, but needed some structure to implementing good habits.However I was wrong, so many umique ideas and goals to sour you on. I look forward to every new page and have found myself trying new foods and enjoying new ways of achieving nutritional goals.

Content great but book arrived damaged
UPDATE: Customer Service is going to send me a replacement journal. They replied quickly and were great to deal with.ORIGINAL REVIEW: My journal arrived bent. It functions obviously but doesn't open nicely. It’s damaged and I shouldn’t have gotten a discount. It's not worth the time and effort to return it. For the price this isn’t acceptable. The content in the journal is great which is why I still gave it a 4-star. The book itself quality-wise was a 3-star
