Umberto Giannini Frizz Fix Shampoo
This product was sent to me to review, as part of Amazon Vine. Below is my own real-world experience of using it. I was particularly drawn to it, as I have wavy hair that is very prone to frizz, and I welcome anything which could help with that. The container was easy to use, and open with wet hands. Inside, the shampoo was a little bit thick and gloopy, but came out well enough. When it came to lathering, I felt like I needed to put in more effort to get a good clean, as the product wasn’t very foamy. After scrubbing for an extra minute or two, I was happy enough. Whilst doing so, I noted that the scent was quite pleasant - somewhat herbal, but not overly strong, and it doesn’t linger. I had no trouble rinsing it out, and was quickly able to follow it up with the matching conditioner (with which I have also been provided, for review). Overall, a good value item.

Umberto Giannini Frizz Fix Shampoo – Good for Dry, Damaged + Frizzy Hair & Has A Pleasant Scent
This frizz fix shampoo Umberto Giannini arrived packaged in a frosted plastic bag to prevent messy leakages and is contained within a 250ml squeeze bottles that open at the base for convenient use. The shampoo is designed to help hydrate dry / damaged hair by sealing in moisture and works well with my long, wavy hair which is quite dehydrated at the ends due to colouring. The shampoo uses a vegan keratin bond repair technology, rich in peptides and is a plant based alternative formulated from a byproduct of milk thistle which helps repair damaged hair, sodium gluconate to help remove metals and minerals found in hard water for softer feeling hair and hyaluronic acid / peptides to lock in moisture and reduce frizz by delivering long lasting hydration. The moisturising formula is made with 94% natural ingredients. It is safe for coloured hair and leaves my hair feeling soft and clean as well as very manageable without any added weight. The formula is suitable for curly hair and helps enhance waves as it doesn’t use sulphates, silicone or parabens which is great but does mean there isn’t as much lather. The shampoo has a eucalyptus / lavender scent which is very pleasant and has a good consistency (not too runny or thick) with a nice cleanse. I was able to style my hair as normal without any issues leaving it frizz free and I haven’t had any adverse reactions to the shampoo. The shampoo is 100% vegan and cruelty free and is made in the UK. Priced at £9.95 at the time of reviewing, which I think I reasonable for the quality, but it isn’t the largest bottle at 250ml. It does however contain good quality nourishing ingredients and it left my hair feeling clean, less dry at the ends and more manageable with a soft finish.

Sulphate free shampoo
I've reviewed this item in tandem with the associated conditioner to give it a fair trial. For background, I have hair that is neither straight nor curly and goes full on Crystal Tipps* if I try to brush it (*you need to be of a certain age to get that reference!) The shampoo itself is fine, lathers up quite well and smells vaguely of lavender. I did find it incredibly difficult to tell the difference between the shampoo and conditioner in the shower, due to the tiny white writing on a light grey tube (admittedly I do use reading glasses, but at least give me a chance of squinting and reading the text!). I personally didn't find any great difference in the amount of frizz I have after using this product, but if sulphate free and vegan toiletries are important to you, this may be worth the money (just shy of £10 at the time of this review).

Good for 2c hair.
I have thick wavy hair that is frizzy unless I use plenty of hair oil and separate into curl clumps, so I'm always on the look out for new anti frizz products. The packaging is nice, subtle colours for all the aesthetics girlies/guys, though because the shampoo and conditioner look similar you could pick up the wrong one in the shower, it would be nice to have a slight difference in the packaging. The wide base means it stands up in the shower with no issues. Scent is pleasant, slightly lavender-y, but not overpowering. It doesn't lather much, which I believe is a good thing and relates to the no sulphates. The shampoo is viscous as expected, and it leaves my hair feeling clean. I use with the conditioner and the Umberto Gianni curl jelly ( pink tube) when I want to leave my hair with it's natural 2C wave, or if I want blow dry straight, the Blow out Frizz styling cream. I like the products, they leave my hair feeling pleasant, and the washing experience is nice. I had no trouble rinsing it out, and was quickly able to follow it up with the matching conditioner (with which I have also been provided, for review).

Smells lovely, good lather, nice shampoo for curly hair
I have very curly hair that can be prone to frizz. This shampoo lathered up well and smelled lovely when I was using it. I am not sure it make my hair any less frizzy but it is sulphate and silicone free which I look for in a shampoo (thanks curly girl method) I deliberately didn't use conditioner and my hair looked perfectly fine for day 2 and day 3 (I don't wash every day) I have used Umberto Giannini before and am very happy with this.

Reduces Frizz
I have long straight hair which often becomes dry and prone to fizz so this shampoo is ideal for me. It does comes heavily scented of Eucalyptus which I am not a fan of but to be honest my conditioner takes away the after scent. The product has little lather with the shampoo being a gel creamy consistency. It leaves my hair feeling soft and smooths and my hair isn’t as frizzy after using this product.
