Not smooth at all
I had to change the spring it came with because since the mechanism is a bit rough, clicking the pen was really difficult. It would get stuck and made my thumb hurt after using it for a while. With a weaker, recycled spring from another pen, actioning the bolt became easier. That still doesn’t make it perfectly smooth and remains a disappointment from what I expected from the pen.
