These are medium weight plastic but still much more durable than a regular plastic bag. They seal just like a ziplock bag and they are easier to "ziplock" them than a standard bag. They are the right size for TSA regulations. The only thing that seems weird about them is the little loop attached to the bag. I'm not sure what the reason for it is but I guess maybe it's so you can hang it up. Recommended.
