Easy To Make, Fun To Eat
The media could not be loaded. The Snacktivist Foods - Turmeric Chia Falafel Mix was so easy to make. Just add warm water, stir, let it sit for 10 minutes and drop a tablespoon of the mixture in a pan with hot oil. You cook it deep-fry style, in at least an inch of oil. It only takes two minutes per side before they're finished and ready to eat. Mine came out rustic and round looking, but they were really good with some tzatziki sauce with a side of lettuce.One bag makes quite a few falafels and was more than enough for a family meal. After cooking, they're crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. They have a hearty falafel flavor. The ingredient list is short and includes garbanzo bean flour, garlic powder, sea salt, non-aluminum baking powder, lemon powder, chia seeds spices and pectin.I am a fan of the Snacktivist Falafel mix and would get it again. It's not only convenient, but it's delicious and wholesome. Just keep an eye on the calories.Made in the USA~ Kort

Vegan, EASY and delicious
My boyfriend is vegan and he loves brownies. I never make them for him because vegan baking is time consuming and in my experience often a colossal fail. We just got this mix and only had to add water, oil, vanilla and bake. They were DELICIOUS. We are definitely fans and will be trying everything this company makes.

Great addition to Buddha Bowls
We love making buddha type bowls for dinner. Typically we have a meat protein and I'm always trying to get my husband to go vegetarian for some meals, and this is really the only concession he will make, falafel. These are easy to make, really like any other falafel mix. I opted not to deep fry these but instead I pan-fried...well actually my husband did it because he's the fry master. I would have turned these into a mushy mess.These were great atop a bowl of veggies, quinoa, hummus and feta.
