This body butter is amazing! It may not have added fragrance (thank you because I'm usually allergic to that part) but I love that I can add 2 drops of essential oil to give it a gentle, clean smell. This has worked wonders on my leg skin. After spending years and years of weedeating, the skin on my legs/calves was scarred and leathery, like reptile skin. No longer! Now my legs are smooth and silky!! I used about 3/4 of the first tub, once after each shower, and I will never buy another line of moisturizers. Versed is only necessary products, which I am all for! Who wants to put all those extra additives on your skin...?? I love their foamy face cleanser. The other Versed products I am slowly trying new ones as I go. I wholeheartedly recommend these products to anyone with dry, older skin. Limited ingredients. I'm 64, and the skin on my legs now look like I'm in my 30s. I call that incredible. Thanks, Versed! I'd give you 10 ⭐️s if I could!

The texture is rich and buttery, but it absorbs surprisingly well — no greasy residue, which is a huge plus for me. The only downside for me is the scent. It’s not overwhelming, but there’s something about it I just don’t enjoy — kind of nutty and earthy, which I know comes from the natural butters, but it’s just not my thing. Not sure I will re-purchase. I wanted to come back and update my review on the Versed Advanced Retinol Body Butter after using it consistently for a week. While I still don’t love the scent — it’s just not quite my style — I have to admit the results are starting to speak for themselves. My skin, especially on my legs, looks noticeably smoother and firmer. I honestly wish I had taken a before-and-after photo because I do see a visible difference. I’ve also been walking more frequently, so it could be a combination of that and this body butter, but either way, I’m happy with what I’m seeing! If you're looking for a skin-firming body treatment and don't mind a scent that might take a little getting used to, this is definitely worth trying. I’m glad I stuck with it.

Ok, so yes it does not have a “good” smell but honestly I don’t mind it, and I care more about results anyway. I love this stuff. I’m in my mid 40s and was starting to get a little bit of crepey skin on my arms, plus had a few dark spots the derm zapped off but left a little scar. Both are dramatically reduced since using this daily. It has a nice, thick texture and feels very hydrating. I put it on immediately after the shower and follow with some body oil for a nice smell. The results from this far outweigh any worry about the unscented lotion smell. I prefer to avoid fake fragrances anyway.

I originally bought a Versed lotion in a tube and it was amazing. The price of that was three times what I originally paid when I was reordering, so I tried this body butter product from Versed instead. I am not certain if the results would be as good as the lotion in a tube, because this body butter smells so bad that I have only used it twice and both times I've washed it off very quickly. I would not recommend due to the smell alone.

Love this cream. I noticed a smoother look to my skin after the first couple of applications. Took a little while to get used to the smell. Glad I ordered this product well worth it.

Nice textured cream but smells bad. I've been using it but every time I gag a little. Smells like old grandma smell, stale and off. I'm not sure if I can continue to use it. Otherwise its good. I wish the Versed would address the many bad reviews for the smell and why it smells so bad. I'm going to try putting an essential oil in it to see if that improves it.

This is the worst smelling lotion I have ever used, and it's a huge stretch to call it a cream, let alone a body butter. It's nothing like a body butter. A bunch of it spilled out when trying to take the lid off. Imagine the thinnest, most runny lotion you've ever used, and it's probably like that. It's possible I just have an old, rancid jar - since there is no expiration date to be found anywhere on the jar. But I definitely won't be ordering this again. I've no idea whether it achieves its stated purpose, as I can't stand to use it.
