Although fat soluble stays in the body longer, After ordering the powder form, I learned that it is not recommended for ages 60+ because it is harder for the liver to process. I prefer supplement powder forms because they can be added to blended drinks. I decided to use it up anyway -- until I tasted it. Benfotiamine powder has the worst, bitter taste of any powdered supplement I have ever used. Lesson learned; into the trash. Use the capsules.

I take several supplements, and I appreciate any that I can find in powder form, as it eliminates the need for additional capsules. This works very well for what I take it for.
