I just want to say yes, yes, yes! It's comfortable it's durable it feels very feminine to wear its a really great product for just adding a little bit more weight and really giving you that few extra pounds to walk around with all day! I honestly would advertise this for both men and women my fiance has put it on and worn it around the house while we're chasing around our one-year-old and it doesn't look like a solely female piece when he has it on. I truly love this product it fits very well! And for the most part it's extremely comfortable the only thing I would change is possibly the amount or with that it can extend to. I love that sit in a cross formation on your body. It really allows there to be more room and for females it doesn't get in the way of your chest!HOWEVER!If you are heavier chested, I would probably not be as comfortable wearing this in a gym or walking down the street only because the way that it sits is directly between your breast and it definitely separates your boobs.Now you can wear it lower or War loose but I personally like mine Tighter and closer to my body so if you do have this I would just suggest wearing another shirt over the weight. Other than that I definitely think this is a steal and worth every penny the stitching and everything was great there was no extra going to the store and buying sand for its it came already done and packaged.Not sure if you're like me but I definitely love getting stuff from Amazon it's like Christmas all the time all year long! I am 5'7, 120 lbs. This vest is good fit for my frame. Very stable on long walks 20k steps per day. Doesn't hurt neck. It is actually masaging my shoulders as a reminder of keeping good posture. Will use it also for housekeeping, going up and down the stairs and to add a challenge into workouts. It does not bounce.

I bought this vest to add weight on my workouts that involve a lot of moving. It’s easy to put on, and easy to adjust. It has minimal movement during my workouts. I was worried because of the design that it might not stay still. I am 5’7” and about 135lbs and it stays on well enough for lunges and such. It doesn’t have 0 movem, but it’s minimal, and doesn’t bother my workout. It seems well constructed, I have been using it 6/days week for about an hour each day for almost a month now. I am hoping it will last a very long time. It’s comfortable to wear, I have no issues with it against my skin if I am just wearing a sports bra. No chafing, no issues at all. Very happy with this purchase! Would love it they would come out with some heavier weight versions like 12 and 15lbs.

I purchased this weighted vest for use during jogging. There are several vests on the market but this one stood out due to its design and price. This is a reasonably priced vest. I also thought 8 pounds was enough weight for me, a woman who's never used a weighted vest, to start with.I like that that vest has closures on both sides which helps with a secure fit. The crossed front is ideal for a female body, as weights squishing one's chest is undesirable. The cellphone holder is a mesh panel near the right closure. It is fairly useless, unless you have a very tiny phone. You could, however, use it for something else, like a key or ID, if you need to carry that stuff around.I have used the vest for a couple of weeks, jogging for 45 minutes to an hour each use. I find it very comfortable. The straps allow for as snug a fit as you'd like. They can tend to loosen as you jog. I tried tying them which didn't work. I found that leaving them loose and then simply tugging on one while jogging instantly tightens it up. Not a big issue. I have had no issue with leaking sand and the vest appears sturdy enough. The only downside to this vest is that there's no option to increase the weight but at this price point that is reasonable.This vest has been a great addition to my cardio workouts. It has contributed positively to my fitness and I hope to use it for some time before upgrading to a heavier vest.

I would have given it a larger rating score had it actually FIT ME correctly. I have a bad lower back. My chiropractor suggested I purchase a weighted vest to wear daily, for a time, to strengthen my body and help with the pain. The vest does not fit over my breasts. Darned thing doesn't even go down to my waste. I managed to pull it down as far as possible so I could pull my bust line through the holes in the vest, so I could fasten the vest underneath. I look absolutely ridiculous but have to use this product in hopes of alleviating my back pain. The weight hugging my body, helps to strengthen my muscles so my back gets more support. I will begin by taking out six pounds and work up from there.

Went for a 3 mile walk and it was very comfortable. The 8 lbs was a good weight without being overbearing. Didn’t rub my shoulders. The neoprene material was a little warm but it was 90 degrees out so anything would be hot.

I researched weight vests for several weeks, every time coming back to this one. Although more than I wanted to pay originally, the quality of the vest and the weight distribution and comfort has made me feel happy with my choice.Having lost 4 stone, i'd hit a 'brick wall' and couldn't lose any futher weight and was bored with my regime, my GP suggested I use a 'weight vest'. Wow! so pleased with my purchase and the results.Would thoroughly recommend.

What a great product! I have tried several weighted vests and while I do find them useful when weight training I have never found one that I could use for walking, jogging, hiking or even around the house comfortably. I am a small woman, 5'1' and 125lbs (muscular) and I can actually adjust this vest to go too small!!! I can walk, jog and hike comfortably with no crazy weighted bounce happening.With the combination of the intelligent design plus the weight being so evenly distributed, it just melds into your body with no feeling of actually carrying a foreign object on your person (no pressure on the shoulders or back) and if you adjust it correctly, no movement or "rug burn" on your waist lol.It doesn't hang too low (just a little lower than the picture if you are a shorty like me, no worries about it bruising your hips) and it also doesn't rub against the inner arms or armpits, i.e. it doesn't have any of the issues that most of the other vests have, it is truly made for comfort...for me, this one sits on the body and functions like a dream.**I would love to see this same design made in a higher weight!**

I have never had a weighted vest before so was not sure what to expect. I am happy to say that the Empower vest is great! Has adjusted to my body resulting in a comfortable fit. Weight is evenly distrubuted. I only use it for walking. I am 7' 10", not sure how it would be on someone very short or tall. However, for me it is perfect.
