I bought several of these pouches to try them out and I only make half at a time. Well, this one says that one serving is a 1 1/2 cups and there are two servings in the pouch, but the math is not mathing because I barely got 2 1/4 cup of dry product. So disgusted with the false advertising in ALL these companies that I forgot to take a pic. I know these things are packaged by weight, it’s just that none of the cup portions advertised ever match. (I just repackaged a box of minute rice for long-term storage and it’s 4 cups short) Also, not sure why it’s called beef marinara when there’s hardly one pea sized beef kibble per five spoonfuls. That being said taste was as expected, edible. Dumped Parmesan on it and it helped.

Tastes awesome. Keep a few in my vehicle and go bag for emergencies. Gotta be careful because you might eat them if it’s not an emergency. Highest quality with the price reflecting the great flavor and texture.

This was like a five-star meal after my very strenuous hike into camp a couple weeks ago. I was so hungry and I wasn't sure if I was going to like this. I mean it is a dehydrated meal. How good can it be, but you'd be amazed at how good anything tastes when you're out on the trail. Honestly, even if I wasn't hiking, I'd say this was a good meal and tasted good. I unfortunately added too much water so it was a bit more like a soup which is not a bad thing necessarily still tasted good. The noodles were done all the way and I just got a little bit of extra hydration from it. It's a very good meal. Highly recommend if you have the room in your pack.

A must have for car-camping\ backpacking if you like spaghetti and meat sauce--a little bulky in terms of volume but can be squished down a bit and it's lightweight, coming in at about 4.25 oz. I can fit 3-4 of these in a 60L pack, depending on how I'm kitting out and if I'm car camping there's no problem. Freeze-dried is well worth it for ease of preparation--boil some water, mix it, done. Obviously, the pasta is wheat; but no dairy as far as I know. if you're going solo, it's a 2-serving meal, so plan appropriately (I generally eat these meals for breakfast or lunch); and bring some crushed red pepper to spice it up! The sauce is fine on its own, but I'm a chili head...
