I am a Rideshare driver. I have been through car mounts. I recently got a new 2025 Honda CRV and it was very difficult to find a mount that will work with this car. I did not want to mount on the windshield and the design of this dash doesn't give any good places. You cannot use the vent clips because of how how the vents are.This little mount has the perfect design. I did almost give it 4 stars because of the sticky tab not staying down. If I attempted to remove the mount from the Velcro, the tab would come up. Others mentioned this also. However, after I let it sit for a day or 2, like the directions suggested, I can now remove the mount from the Velcro and the sticky tab doesn't come up. The magnet is very strong and works perfectly with my mag safe case. My phone doesn't budge even when on a bumpy road. I was able to place the on the wall of the area behind the steering wheel. I chose the left side so my phone is to the left of my steering wheel. You cannot use also do it to the other side. I am very happy with this mount!

I have tried a dozen phone holders. This one works great in my truck. It works so well I bought 3 more. Now I have 2 in my truck and 1 in my car and one in my hubby’s company car.The magnet is really strong. I even have a rubber-like case on my phone (iPhone Pro Max). My phone has NEVER fallen off. The Velcro is also super strong. I had a place to put it that was smooth (it may not stick as well on a textured dash, I was afraid to try that). It comes with 2 sets of Velcro.

I installed one of these on the rear headrest of our Kia Sorento so that our son can watch whatever kids watch these days on his phone while we travel. It's super-secure, well though-out and good-looking. In fact, I liked it so much I purchased a second one.Regarding the negative reviews about the velcro tape not adhering to different surfaces very well. The surfaces on the rear of our headrests are pebbled, yet the velcro has stayed there just fine. Even still, I noticed that when I pull on the phone holder really slowly, there is some lifting to the tape. I suspect that's more a function of the bioinic nature of the way the velcro attaches to itself.Bottom line, if you intend to remove this thing frequently, it may not suit your needs. As for me and my household, we love these.

Really works well for the design of the 2024 Kia Seltos! The Kia Seltos has that super wide screen/electronic dash which sticks above higher than the rest of the dash, the dash isn’t flat, AND the center vents are too flimsy for vent mounts. So finding the right phone mount has been a series of trial and error to say the least. You either have to mount it ABOVE your dash (hello, view obstruction) or a windshield mount.This solves the issue pretty easily! See for yourself.

I just got around to installing this eSamCore mount in my Ford F150 truck. I ordered it in February 2025 but didn't want to install the velcro mount in the freezing cold weather. It seems to work, but I thought the magnet would be stronger. The product talks about an additional magnetic ring that might make the phone stay in place. I didn't see that so I'm assuming I got an earlier model. I'll see how it functions and update this review if anything changes. Right now, I'm pretty neutral on this.UPDATE: ESamCore responded to my missing magnetic ring and are sending me replacements. The prompt response and solution by ESamCore is excellent customer service. I really like this magnetic car mount. I will buy another one for my other car. I'm upgrading my review to five stars. The mount is very sturdy and can be shaped in many ways to accomodate how the phone is displayed. Thank you ESamCore!

My wife bought one of these for each of us for Christmas. I've had bad luck with suction cup mounted phone holders so I was a little skeptical. However, for me, the product is great. I was able to bend it so that I can mount it on the dashboard but the phone itself actually sits below my sight line when looking out the windshield. The Velcro mounting system works well on a non-perfectly flat dashboard, unlike the suction cup ones I've used in the past. Both the magnetic holder and the Velcro are strong enough that the phone doesn't come off, even on bumpy roads.My wife however, couldn't find a good position to mount it in without covering up a vent or the radio or a dial. That's why I say in my headline that it's great for the right car. I have a Toyota 4Runner and it works great. My wife drives a Jeep Grand Cherokee and it doesn't fit as well.

Worked like a charm until the first hot day. Then the adhesive gave way and was useless.

I've used a variety of dash mounts(morn than 5) in my car, so far and this by far has been my favorite. First, the velcro lets you move and adjust the mount to your desire place , and its bendable so you can really customize as much as you like. Second, the magnet portion is super strong and it also allows for attachment of a phone WITH a pop socket on - not a feature you see often! Lastly it's very strong , came with its own magnetic ring and extra velcro mount in case you need it which is awesome.
