Autism helper shoes
So this is probably not the review they were expecting for light up roller skate shoes.I bought these for my autistic grandson who is 7. He walks on this tip toes - a common problem with autistic children. My daughter has tried weighted shoes, braces, wraps, even swim fins, to try and get him to stop.I bought these for another attempt and they are doing the job!! We keep the front wheel on and close the back wheel and he cannot walk on his tip toes. It helps when he uses the back to steady himself as it stretches the calf muscle. We also use both wheels and I gave him my walker and he is loving learning to skate. Then when it is time to stop skating, you put one wheel down into the shoe and the other pops out and has a cover for the hole that pops in - now he is ready for the playground or the store.His favorite part is choosing which color lights he wants (green is the favorite) - you just push a button by the shoe laces to change it. They recharge at night with a usb charger. The lights last all day.These are the outside-the-box solution to tip toe kids. So much better than leg braces - and cheaper - and way more FUN! Give it a try!

Just as pictured
The shoes do look a bit more bulky in person but other than that they look just as pictured. Although the button for the wheel to pop out are a bit hard for my 7 almost 8 yr old to do on her own, she loved the lights and has fun wearing these!
