Much better than what you usually get
Most of the bits you get on Amazon are good, but not great. They're fine for me as a hobby maker, but if you're doing heavy work you need a great bit. If you need one like this, you just might have found a great one. Again, I am a hobbyist, so maybe I am wrong here, but this is one of the cleanest cutting bits I have in my collection. So far it has done nothing but great cuts in anything I've tried.

Beautiful and Sharp
REVIEW: ZahyoX PRO Solid Carbide Spiral Router Bit Nano Coated, Up Down Compression CNC End Mill 1/2 Inch Shank x 1/2 Dia x 1-1/4 CL x 3 OVLThis may be most solid and well made bit I have. It's made of solid carbide, justifying the $74.97 cost. It is also coated with a Nano Composite of an abrasive coating, nACo protection and with tungsten carbide that gives it better heat resistance and considerably extends the bit's useful life.Be careful removing the bit from its plastic sleeve. It is super sharp and will easy cut skin.Being a Compression bit, this bit is an upward cut and a downward cut tool. The bottom of the work material is pulled upwards but the top of the material is pushed downwards creating much smoother cuts with no tear-out on either end. You don't use this bit the same as other bits and some working knowledge of how this bit works and how to use it will save the work-piece from poor cuts and save time.Additionally, this bit can be used on plywood, acrylic, plastic, solid woods, composites, aluminum, soft metals and MDF. Where it really shines is using it drilling into laminates.Don't shy away from learning how to use compression bits or at the cost of this one. After using this bit, most people will be very pleased that they own it.

Great compression bit
This bit arrives very sharp, and very well cut and balanced. Have been using it for a few hours of cutting and it is still cutting like it was when it was new.

Beautiful.
This bit is very well-made, nicely finished, perfectly balanced, and extremely sharp. It makes nice, clean, consistent cuts; with much less tear-out than similar bits.Definite keeper.

Very nice cut
I am very impressed with this bit. I used it quite extensively on a recent project. It is very sharp and cut through my wood like butter. The cuts were clean. I had no issues using this bit. I didn’t need to cut all the through my board so I didn’t make full use of the compression bits capabilities. I can tell you that the cut on the top of my board was clean with no tear out.The price is the only thing that concerns me with this bit. I have never heard of ZahyoX so having a $75 bit puts it on the premium end of bits. I feel it is comparable to other premium bits that I have but I’m not sure how many people will pay their price when they can get more well known premium brand bits for the same price.Overall, it is very nice bit that worked well for me. I haven’t had it long enough to say how sharp it stays longterm but as of right now if you need a good compression bit, this bit is definitely a good option.

Well-made, sharp and pretty!
For various applications, I might need an upcut or downcut spiral bit, or sometimes just a straight cutting one. Especially when plowing through material like plywood in a single pass, the compression bit can really be what's needed to get a clean cut on both faces. This compression bit can also be very useful when cutting to a pattern, where you might only need to trim that last 1/8" off the edges. This ZahyoX PRO Solid Carbide Spiral Router Bit performs beautifully in my early usage. Obviously, time will tell how long it lasts; my applications are more at the part-time project level, certainly not like a full-time shop, so I anticipate it holding out for quite a while. I'm very impressed so far and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another.

I want to display this as a work of art
This is a sharp and very nicely concentric bit. It's a little pricey for an off-brand but I believe it to be reasonably priced at $49. I have future projects I plan on using this on resinous hardwoods so I'll update the review accordingly once it has some hours cutting chips.
