The perfect planning tool

Very useful for our first Yosemite trip!

This book was pretty helpful for first time Yosemite visitors. I have read better tourist guides for other locations but this one helped us get around and provided some good information.

Not the best descriptive guide - not much info on Sequoia/Kings Canyon, and it is a very basic guide, which I purchased for a trip to Sequoia/KC. 3/4 of the book is Yosemite. Not much info (none) on the park lodging and minimal campground info. It did provide a few of the hikes recommended, but other than that, it was a simple guide that will go into my Goodwill box. I’ll look for a different guide for Yosemite.

The book lists many trails to hike but does not provide an easy way to know how long or difficult or steep each hike is.
