We use this fan all the time! Portable, not too small, moves air well. The hook at the top means I can hang it from the inside of my SUV. It runs for 12 hours fully charged and turns off (might be timer or power limits). If you keep it plugged in, it runs indefinitely. The light isn't terribly useful except for ambient light since it isn't targeted. This was a good purchase.

I ordered one of these fans a couple days ago - in preparation for hurricane season and/or the electricity going out. It seemed lightweight, portable, I liked the idea of being able to charge my phone, and the light/lantern feature seemed convenient. Well, within a day or two of it arriving...our AC ironically went out. It's reaching 86° in our home and with this Florida heat, it's hard to cool off. I immediately took out this mighty little fan and it's been a lifesaver. Since I've had it facing my dog the last 2 days (she even loves it, it's nice and quiet), I realized I needed to order another for myself. The second one shipped overnight and I never imagined I would ever be so comfortable with no AC. In August. In Florida!! I highly recommend this little fan. It holds its charge, you can even use it while charging, and the air it blows is nice and cool. I've been raving about it the last 3 days. (I will say I've yet to test how it charges my phone, but I honestly don't care). I'm thinking of getting everyone one for the holidays.

UPDATED REVIEW: A 2nd and 3rd fan have been purchased and failed for the same reason. I now suspect the original fan’s failure to be for the same reason. TLDR; if the USB-C port disappears inside the fan, game over. The USB-C charging port is not sturdy. It does not withstand much plugging and unplugging, sometimes needs a bit of a bit of a wiggle, and becomes detached from the circuit board and disappears inside the unit. You can hear it rattling around. It does say in the instructions not to take the fan apart, I doubt that it’s dangerous -except maybe the battery pack and teeny tiny screws to children- but probably because you have to be a fan surgeon. I took one apart, angrily. Once it’s apart, the circuit board is very simple and you can rescue the little “C” end of the charging port. The problem with that is even though it has two little feet that hook in to the circuit board, there has to be some tension that holds it in place, or access to an electron microscope to solder it in place as well. You shouldn’t have to pull this thing apart to fix that one issue. The fan doesn’t work anymore after this as it drains whatever battery is left, and you can no longer charge it. That is too big of a design flaw for this fan that is otherwise amazing. As well as the prompt customer care from company that produces it. You have 30 days to learn this hard lesson. I liked it so much I bought it three times, so I really had to learn the lesson the hard way. I still love the fan, I’m just sorry I had to end this way. Original review is below. ORIGINAL REVIEW 7/24 I love this fan. The first one I received only worked when plugged in and I was going to return it. The replacement showed up so fast and worked perfectly. Alaska entered a heatwave like the rest of the US so I opted to keep the first fan and use it as a corded device. The second fan has lived within several feet of me at all times and has been a blessing. At a full charge it’s lasted over 24 hours at altering speeds, and it’s been operational almost nonstop for a week or more while on and off the charger. It’s quiet and effective at all speeds. The light comes in handy, you will use it. Tonight I brought it into a restaurant where everyone was sweltering…except me. So many people asked about it as we sweat to death on the final frontier. Places sell out of fans quick here as the summers get hotter and hotter. It accompanied me on a camping trip and kept my tent cool without having to remove the fly and sleep in full midnight sun or bake with the fly on like Saran Wrap. I just vented each end of the tent and hung the fan from a ceiling clip. I’ll own more :) It’s not a high speed blow your wig off sorta fan but it does the job. Its light as a feather and travels well. I love it.

We bought this to use on a cruise and at the 75% fan level the fan lasted about 2 1/2 days without needing to be charged. I’ve also used it to help dry our dishes at home. It also works great to cool off kids food before serving them. It is quiet and has a long lasting charge.

I’ve had this fan for over 2 years now and it’s been an absolute life saver. From summer car camping in the Tennessee heat, to sleeping at the bottom of the Grand Canyon in August, this little fan has been put to the test and have not disappointed. It will last about one full night at full blast before needing to be charged again, but if you have a way to keep it powered up you’re good to go! It will also run while charging, which is nice. Withstood some splashes, drops, heat/extreme sun exposure, and still hasn’t failed me. Only downside I’ve noticed is it’s pretty easy for the fan to accidentally get turned on, if the dial is turned during storage or transport, draining the battery and running the fan when it’s not needed. But with care this can be avoided. For the price, I am very happy with it

Product not even 1 year old and battery is gone. You can get much cheaper and better products. Recently noted that products rated highly on AMAZON have proven to be costly and of inferior quality. I doubt the authenticity of such reviews
