I love this thing from the first cook! Yes, it leaks a little by the lid but not much and does not affect the temps. I ran a double decker snake method of Kingsford charcoal, running 270 degrees of the kettle perimeter, and the kettle ran at 230 degrees for 10+ hours with the riser ring attached! I added chunks of apple wood on top every 6" or so through the perimeter top of the snake. I made baby backs, St. Louis racks, and full beef racks and it was amazing. That flavor was true smoked BBQ. With 1/4" penetration of a smoke ring, I am impressed! None of that tarry over smoke flavor you get from tight space smoking. The door works perfectly when I need to address the water pan too. To turn a Weber into a Weber Smokey Mountain for just $161 dollars, is a steal! Seriously, the ring is great. The silicone probe ports are perfectly placed. This is just like a drum smoker, or smokey mountain smoker. You will cook like a pro in no-time. Don't hesitate like I did. Just buy it!!! I was about to pick up a mid-range Off-set smoker until I researched further on smokers and then concluded to try this out as I already own a Weber kettle.

Nice, the hooks could be better but I ran 9 racks of babybacks first time out and they were delightful. Nice not having to rotate the racks. Almost sailor proof.

After purchasing another grill rate from SNS I was able to cook with three rows. A Dutch oven on the bottom, franks in the middle and chicken on the top rack . Worked perfectly!

Product seemed decent. Would have loved to use it, but it does not fit the SNS Kettle. I tried modifying the bottom flange to expand it, but even that didn't work

pros - It feels good, door gasket is a nice touch, 2 grommets, has solid weight and overall clean design. cons - It does have some sharp edges on the edges from the welding cleanup. the handles are not well designed, more than likely will have leakage, and wobble quite a bit. I wish the door was slightly bigger. I did add a gasket on the bottom rim to minimize leakage.
