I purchased this after I noticed a few cotton mouths in my backyard. I live close to a lake so that is expected, but definitely do not want them anywhere near my house. After my brother recommended these, I purchased for the inside of my garage as I have small cracks that a snake could get into. I have a cat that loves to wander in the garage and we use it as a Sunday football cave so we needed something that would deter unwanted critters. I placed two in front of the most prominent cracks (right at the garage door) and then scattered the rest throughout the garage. Behind the couch, under the TV stand, behind our trash bins. Anywhere a snake might be tempted to hide. Have not had a single critter in our garage! I'd love to believe it's because they aren't out there at all, but I think they are definitely deterred by the scent. Will keep buying.

Iguanas like to come hang out on my patio. Not anymore! Works as it says. Good price and its simple to use. Just drop a couple near the problem area and your done. It does not kill them or harm any creatures so don't worry. They just hate the smell!

Product works great! Gave it four stars just because the garlic smell is strong.But, we’ve not seen a single critter since we put these in the garage and on the back patio.

I’d like that these balls are made of essential oils and not harmful to humans or pets. My order contained eight balls. So far so good I have not seen a snake in over a month. They were very convenient to use, all you do is open the bag put them in place at the approximate intervals and that’s it. Also I haven’t had any problems with the smell. I would rate this product as excellent with the experience I have had so far.To improve this product: The write up on this product says it will last 2 to 3 months, but how do I know when it’s effectiveness has worn off. Will the balls just melt and not be visible anymore? I would like to see a better description on what happens when the effectiveness is depleted.

I put the product and I haven’t seen any snakes

After relocating from Illinois to Florida, I was taken by surprise by the number of snakes that were present in our area. Within the first few months of residing in our new house, we observed occasional snakes near our doors. I tried various methods to keep them away, but I found that the Pufado Snake Repellent worked best. Although the repellent has an unpleasant smell, it seems to be what we require to keep our doors free of snakes.

We suddenly had black snakes (at least 4 in a week) showing up around our house and thought they might be ‘nesting’ underneath our house. I got online trying to find a solution to repel these unwelcome creatures and ran across this product. After reading numerous reviews I placed an order. I first put out a couple of these balls along outside foundation and we had a rain storm, getting over 7 inches of rain in a 24 hour period. They held up as far as smell but got very soft and broken. So, we decided to put the rest under the house which seems to be working pretty well. I saw 2 more snakes before putting these balls out but none since.
