I almost never write product reviews on Amazon or anywhere else - so, this is an exception: I AM IN LOVE with this keyboard! I am 63 years old - I have been using mechanical keyboards since the Age of Apes including Apple IIe, IBM Personal Computer, Apple Lisa & the very first Macintosh and lots of other models. This device is "out-of-this-world"! It feels so sturdy & sleek. The sound of the keys sounds like music. The size is spot-on: not too small to make it difficult to use - not too big either. It fits my desk so nicely (this has been a significant factor for me as I am constantly obsessed with tidying up my desk & always having everything fitting in place). I am a software engineer - so, typing is a major part of my work life. I literally can't stop typing on this device - I've been using it for a few hours (I just received it today) and my productibity is already jumping high. Bonus point: I can use it even when its battery is drained by just connecting it to my Mac-Book using the USB-C cable included in the package. My previous keyboard (from a very well known brand) couldn't do it. BTW, this is a nicely long, soft & flexible cable: it doesn't mess the desk nor does it drag the keyboard around. The only issue I have with this keyboard is ... my wife wants one, too! I made a mistake to let her use it for a few minutes - now I have to order! My advice: just throw everything else out of the window, get this keyboard today & I promise you'll never look back!

What a great keyboard. I actually ordered an Apple wireless keyboard and this one at the same time, both arrived same day, tested them out, and the points that made me return the Apple keyboard were that this has (and the Apple doesn’t have) 1. Multi-connect! 2. Backlight!!!! 3. Sounds amazing when typing 4. Compact but substantial The price factor wasn’t a thing for me - I just wanted the best keyboard for my Mac, iPad, and PC!

I bought this after researching mechanical keyboards and it certainly is a beauty. I’m not a major gamer so this is being used Mostly for work and it’s is just as effective. The device Looks awesome alongside my new Asus vivobook Duo on my desk that I like to keep looking smart as it’s always on show in my living room. To type is glorious and very “Apple” feeling with respect to its quality feel and feedback from the keys. For all this it would be the perfect keyboard, and would be if I was using it with my Mac… I was really pleased to find the keyboard mapping can be switched from Mac OS operating mode to Windows simply so the key layouts are correct. I was also impressed when I unboxed and found the 3 spare keys to swap if using the keyboard for windows (command and option replaced with windows and ctrl key) … well done Satechi! However… why did they not also provide alternative keys for all the others? So unfortunately you are still left with incorrect physical keys: [2/@] should be [2/“], [delete] should be backspace], keys 3,4 and @/. Etc all need swapping. Because the keys are mapped correctly they all work as required but it is disappointing that the physical keys are not correct even though they supply some of them. I’m getting used to it as I can’t even order extra keys. Other brands like Keychron do supply all the keys that need swapping. Overall I am enjoying the keyboard because the quality feel and responsiveness are incredible.

I was after a backlit mechanical alternative for the Apple Magic Keyboard and this fits the bill. Very compact size and nice feel to the keys - not too loud despite having ‘clicky’ key switches. Two Bluetooth settings allow easy pairing with both my MacBook and iPad. Early days but battery life seems good and has USB-C charging which doubles as a wired USB connection. The front feet have two heights of tilt.

Have been using a Satechi M1 mouse for a while now, so it seemed like a good thing to match it with the Satechi SM1 mechanical keyboard. Fantastic aesthetics, brilliant build quality and a rock solid bluetooth connection all combine to make this keyboard an excellent choice. Highly recommended.

When it works it is good to type with. However it keeps needing set up which isn’t as easy as it should be due to the terrible instructions. It is about as reliable to use as a printer and equally as frustrating. Back to having to use apples own keyboard

This is a well made and substantial keyboard which connected readily to my iMac. The action is very precise but I found the lettering on the (white) typing keys to be small and difficult to read, and on the other (grey) keys it is almost invisible. I couldn't use it so I have returned it.

Now this is a niiiiiiice keyboard. Very good feel. Very nice form factor. Perfect for work

I'm obsessed with this keyboard! It's my first time purchasing a mechanical keyboard, and I did a lot of research to make sure I got a product that was not too pricey but still decent. I'm so glad I ended up getting this SATECHI keyboard because it is simply exactly what I was looking for. I love the sound effects as I'm typing and also the light options that you get and can use to display your keys. I think it's amazing, and also if you are a first-time mechanical keyboard buyer, I think that this is a really great keyboard to start with. Good quality, and I think you do get your value for your money.

Amo este teclado. Lo compré para reemplazar un Keychron V1 Max que se me echó a perder en 7 meses. Este teclado salió más barato y es mucho más comodo que el Keychron porque es más bajo y hace menos ruido. Es un teclado mecanico con todo, pero no puedes cambiar las teclas ni personalizarlas. En mi caso no es un contra en absoluto. El teclado está muy bonito, bastante pequeño y versatil, tiene patitas para ponerlo a 3 alturas, teclas retroiluminadas, se carga por USB-C, y se conecta por Bluetooth a tu compu, y puedes cambiar entre dos dispositivos muy rapidamente. Viene con teclas Mac y Windows a tu conveniencia. Se siente muy solido y llevo con el 7 meses también, hasta ahora no me ha presentado ni una sola falla.

Hands down one of the best keyboards I've owned. Especially for this price. Bought it for my WFH/gaming setup and I like that I can easily switch between devices with the Bluetooth buttons. It also types amazing and it's not very loud because of the low profile switches. Only downside is that it's not hot-swappable but that's fine as these switches are perfect, and you can still change the keycaps if you want. Battery life is good, and you can also use usb connection or wired if you want. Definitely recommend!!
