I really like these socks. They are soft and well made. However the tops are way too tight, painful even. These socks would be great for my daughter who has small ankles, but didn’t work for me.

If you buy Hanes socks at Walmart, these are not them. Somehow on Amazon Hanes is selling these quality socks that are 79 percent cotton and 13 percent polyester. The weave is tight and well put together. I like this blend as it has the cotton feel, but the added bit of polyester for some durability. The have cushioned soles like sports socks and feel very comfortable. I am 60 years old and take a women’s 7.
