We didn't know our, but the cover to the battery compartment came off the safe after closing it the last time. Keys were lost in a move, naturally. We keep our important documents in there & needed them soon. I couldn't find information on how to order more keys. We thought all was lost & works have to take drastic measures until I stumbled upon this nifty item. From the time it arrived to putting in the batteries & plugging it in took all of 3 minutes to get the safe open. Since the safe uses so many batteries, we're going to keep using this as we seldom need to get into it (if we don't lose it life the keys 🤦‍♀️).10/10 recommend

This item is a pice of junk, it may work but the quality and build is terrible.1: extremely chape plastic2: very thin and cheaply made battery terminals.
